  1. Hello, There are no mechanisms to report whether our certificate is being used or not. As for the Mozilla products, they have their own list of accepted certificates, so you can check that list to see whether the ESET certificate was imported and is being used correctly. T.
  2. Yes, this is possible, thanks to our Unilicense concept: hxxp://www.eset.com/int/home/unilicense/
  3. Hello, Do you use an ESET product? After reading your post it seems you have a competing product installed and you will need to contact its manufacturer. Regards, T.
  4. Hello, Our Banking & Payment Protection feature is designed to work in a default web browser with no modifications. Most of the addons are irrelevant, but addons that interfere with the connection are disruptive, as you have experienced yourself. The recommended solution is not to use such addons if you want the Banking & Payment Protection to be working. Regards, T.
  5. Hello, Please check whether you have updated all ERA components to the latest version 6.2: hxxp://help.eset.com/era_admin/62/en-US/?component_upgrade.htm Are the concurrent tasks of the same type, or are those various tasks? T.
  6. Hello Werderforever, The password is asked only when the settings are being changed (e.g. a rule is created). Once you create the rule, you will no longer be asked for that application and thus the number of password requests will go down rapidly. If you choose to be prompted for every connection, the settings are not changed so the password is not requested. Regards, T.
  7. Hello Sylvio, Please specify which product and version you use, as the answer may vary. Regards, T.
  8. Hello, The articles you linked apply to ERA v5. With ERA v6, there is a different method - you can find more information at hxxp://help.eset.com/era_admin/62/en-US/?fs_agent_deploy_gpo.htm T.
  9. Thank you for the report, it might have been a temporary glitch on the website. Anyway, we will keep an eye on this.
  10. No, this is not possible. However, most used actions are available after clicking our tray icon.
  11. Please PM me with the information on your lock screen settings, screen saver settings, etc., so that we can emulate the same environment. Also attach an output from ESET Log Collector, thanks.
  12. I've seen the detection pop-up sometimes, it may be caused by previous presence of pre-installed software, other software offering its installation, or presence of other (non-antivirus) products by Symantec using the same registry entries.
  13. I am not aware it would not be possible to perform incremental upgrades, millions of users perform them without any issues, so in your case it may be something specific. I'd advise to submit a request via the in-product support form and our support team will investigate the cause of the installation/upgrade issue on your computer.
  14. Usually when such errors occur, the task itself was sent via ERA correctly, but the uninstallation failed on the local computer - the same as it would fail if you ran it manually and locally. In this case it is not the ERA task that you need to resolve, but the uninstallation itself. In case of our product, you can use our uninstallation tool: hxxp://support.eset.com/kb2289/
  15. Hello, As pavilion_alex stated above, there may be several reasons why the updates take longer to download or install. I wouldn't worry about the issue you described. T.
  16. Thank you SweX, hopefully visitors of this forum will find the results useful in their research.
  17. The feature is not directly related to moving computers between groups. The task will periodically rename computers located in Lost & Found static group using the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FDQN). This will allow subsequent static group synchronization task to remove duplicate entries for computers. Afterwards, you can categorize the computers in the groups where you want to put them.
  18. RvW is right, EMSX 6.2 was released on September 3, here is the official announcement: hxxp://www.eset.com/int/about/press/articles/products/article/eset-releases-new-generation-eset-mail-security-for-microsoft-exchange/
  19. Hello sksksk, By default, no email notifications are enabled on the client. In case you enabled some, you can disable them from ERA 6 by assigning a policy with this setting toggled. In ERA, go to Admin > Policies, create a new policy for the product "ESET Security Product for Windows" and change the desired settings in Tools > Email notifications. Assign the policy to the clients that need these settings to be changed and deploy it. Regards, T.
  20. The link to ESET Log Collector as well as the instructions on its usage can be found at hxxp://support.eset.com/kb3466/
  21. Hello, Even the devices that already had the Stagefright fixes distributed, were only partially patched, so there are still some vulnerabilities present. As our detector app does not look for the presence of the patches, but it rather looks at the exploitable vulnerabilities directly, it detects correctly that the device may still be a subject to attacks. As far as I know, not even Nexus devices are fully patched as of today. As for the 404 error, try to clear your browser cache, since the link from the app worked correctly for me. In any case, it leads to this URL: hxxp://support.eset.com/kb3751/ Regards, T.
  22. Hello ameneses54, The process is very easy and you can find it described in a few steps at hxxp://support.eset.com/kb2843/ Let us know whether all went well! Regards, T.
  23. It is not a soft launch. If you are looking for an announcement with highlights of the new features, you can find it here: hxxp://www.eset.com/int/about/press/articles/products/article/eset-releases-new-generation-eset-mail-security-for-microsoft-exchange/
