  1. So far, so good - all my scheduled tasks have been running as expected when game mode is switched off, that appears to be the culprit.
  2. Thank you, that does appear to be the issue - I've tested it a fair bit this evening with 'example' scheduled tasks and have now set up my nightly ones. Will report back if the issue is solved. is there any way to exclude the lock screen from the game-mode detection?
  3. I had previously started a topic in which I thought my problem was that scheduled tasks didn't run in windows 10, no matter what. In the weeks since I've tried reinstalling windows 10 and eset smart security, with no luck, until today. I have now discovered that if you are logged into windows 10, but the system is locked - as I leave my system overnight, scheduled tasks don't run. I tested this by setting a scheduled task of an on-demand scan to start in a couple of minutes, then sitting here and watching the time tick by, then right on the minute, the scan started. I then repeated this process, but after scheduling the scan, I locked the system (using winkey+L) - I then waited for the scheduled time to be reached, then waited several minutes before unlocking, when I expected to see the scan running - It wasn't running. I've repeated this several times now, each with the same result. Any ideas? Many Thanks, Christopher Gibbins
  4. I have since tried uninstalling and reinstalling Smart Security (8.0.319.0) and the problem remains.
  5. I recently upgraded to Windows 10 (clean installation). I've always used scheduled tasks in Smart Security to run a virus scan on my system drive and download drive, every morning, Monday through to Saturday, and then a scan on ALL my drives on Sunday. Since installing Smart Security on Win10 I've not managed to get any of my scheduled tasks to run. This is how the daily scan is set up: hxxp://i.imgur.com/7Ct0GDG.png The weekly is the same, but is set for Sunday, and all drives. They just won't run - the weekly has only had one chance, but the daily has had several chances to run. My system isn't set to sleep at all, though the hard drives do spin down after an hour of idle I've tried deleting the tasks, reboot, setting them up again and then rebooting, yet they still don't run. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Many thanks
