  1. Hi Bogdan, Please see whether disabling Web Access Protection and Application Protocol Filtering changes aynthing. In case it does, please contact your local ESET support office as further logs will be needed to solve the case. (Also make sure that there is no difference between HTTP and HTTPS pages in the behaviour - if there is, it could be just that the certificate was not imported correctly, i.e. a browser was running when the import should have taken place.)
  2. If the first time the issue occured was a couple of days ago, we had our update servers overloaded which could cause such issues. Since then, the load is back to normal. Have you been able to successfully install the product?
  3. Hello, May I ask you who provided you with such information? Please respond to a PM. Thanks
  4. Hello, To remove the account, please log in to your my.eset.com account and in Anti-theft settings you can disable the phantom account. The next time your computer goes online and synchronizes with our portal, the setting will be sent to your computer and the account will be removed.
  5. Hi, please see this part from your message: That is the log I was asking about, not the one you posted.
  6. Hello, do you apply some policies to these clients in ERA? If so, could it be that each of the policies includes an entry to start a scan, thus when combining multiple policies, there are multiple scans scheduled as a result?
  7. Hello, according to our online help at hxxp://help.eset.com/era_install/62/en-US/index.html?prerequisites_server_windows.htm, .Net Framework 3.5 is necessary to run ERA 6.
  8. Yes, when the system is running, you can connect to any network adapter available on the machine, just like on a regular Linux system.
  9. What ESET products do you have in mind? Generally, the GUI of the product requires some version of .Net, but the installer should inform you of any missing requirements.
  10. Hello, not all categories you mentioned are included, but for example you can create reports filtered by the amount of available physical memory, or the device manufacturer.
  11. Hello, I am not sure I understand the issue correctly - what is the problem with that other program? Also, have you confirmed that after disabling or uninstalling ESET product the issue is gone?
  12. Hello, this was mainly a bug-fixing release, plus some of the screens regarding license purchase and offers were redesigned.
  13. We have already released a newer build of v9 in some countries and the rest of the world will follow soon. There were no reports of such issue from the countries where we released v9, so please wait a bit till we release it in your country as well and report back in case the issue persists with the newer version as well. Thanks, T.
  14. OK, in this case please provide these log files, along with the issue description, to your local support team, who will follow up on the case. Thanks.
  15. In this case I'd suggest to contact the local customer care who will request logs (and potentially the database) to look at, to figure out what causes the issue.
  16. Is the issue present with any video streaming website, or just YouTube specifically?
  17. As I said in my previous post, the IP address can be defined on the Remote tab. It can be seen in your first screenshot - General, Local and Remote.
  18. Hello, Did you try to create a specific update profile with desired settings in an ERA policy, then select it as "Selected profile", make sure these two entries have the "Apply" (or even "Force") flag applied and send it to the client?
  19. Hello, I have seen this issue with ERA 6.1, but not anymore with ERA 6.2. What version are you running?
  20. Hello, we are aware of the update server overload issue. It has been looked at, a fix was deployed and the overload should fade down gradually. Thank you for your patience.
  21. Hello, for malware removal, please contact the local ESET support office in your country, as we provide this service to our customers with a valid license.
  22. Hi, have you tried setting a rule in the firewall to allow all incoming communication on the specified port? You can alternatively define the program handling the connection too. Have a look at hxxp://support.eset.com/kb2843/ Does that change anything?
  23. When you create reports in ERA, the Agent then reads data from these logs, sends them to ERA and the information can then be viewed and analyzed.
  24. Yes, it should be possible, but you may need to activate it again.
  25. Hello, this works regardless of the version, there is nothing new about it in v9 and you can set it just as easily in v8 as well. In Advanced setup, go to Personal Firewall > Rules and Zones > Setup > New, name the rule, set Direction to Both, set the Action to Allow and on the Remote tab, choose the IP address, range of IPs or a subnet you want to allow the communication with.
