  1. Hello Avielc, the upload to repo will probably take few more days. Regards, P.R.
  2. Hello Jim, interesting thank you for sharing, I will ask some guys over here if they have any info about it. Regards, P.R.
  3. Hello Hijin25, we are interested in the exported log, where you found the mentioned entries. Thank you, P.R.
  4. Hello Hijin25, that is strange as those file are not loaded to run. We use them during the module updates, those are merged with small updates received and than they are build into the .dlls, which has valid digital signature. May I ask you to provide me with the exported log files, you mentioned to check? Thank you, P.R.
  5. Hello KrzysiekS. in that case please enable dump creation on the affected machine. In advanced settings go to Tools -> Diagnostics -> set dump type to Full and confirm by O.K. button. On consequent ESET service crash a dump should be created in the location mentioned by Marcos. Regards, P.R.
  6. Hello J-gray, I've seen a case with a very similar issue as you described. As a root cause was identified a SQLite DB corruption. macOS does not flush data to file system immediately, but delays it due to optimization. In case of system failure like power outage, it can cause DB corruption and thus fail of application relaying on data from it. In case you have the logs please send me a private message with a reference to this thread. Can you please also pack contents of /Library/Application Support/com.eset.remoteadministrator.agent as it may be important for the analysis as well. If you provide me with the ticket ID and information about the partner / reseller I may try to check it. Thank you, P.R.
  7. Hello guys, thank you for your interest in the BETA testing. We generally do not support BETA versions of any OSes, they usually change a lot and are not always stable themselves. We will probably have a new generation of the ESET Cyber Security product for macOS, I may notify you in case you are being interested in the BETA testing. Regards, P.R.
  8. Hello Steve, yes, EEA stands for ESET Endpoint Antivirus. Regards, P.R.
  9. Hello Avielc, the ESET main GUI is run by ekrn, but I'm not sure why there should be an issues after the system reboot :-( May I ask you to retry the behavior with the hotfix release build, which we are about to release on the beginning of the next week. In case it will persist I will assist you with the troubleshooting. Regards, P.R.
  10. Hello Avielc, we are aware of the system freeze issue (both upon clean installation and upgrade) caused by clash of 2 AV scanners (ESET and Windows defender). We hope that we will be able to release the hotfix build at the beginning of the next week. Regards, P.R.
  11. Hello J-gray, the info_get script for macOS should be able to collect all data required, it can be downloaded from this KB article http://support.eset.com/kb3404/?viewlocale=en_US Regards, P.R.
  12. Hello Hungtt, not sure but as far as I know it is limitation of the VMware solution. Regards, P.R.
  13. Hello, may I ask which version of Translation support module do you have? Can you please post a screenshot of the message? Regards, P.R.
  14. Hello J-gray, one of my colleagues says that it might be caused by the agent crashes, so we would need a logs collected from the affected machines to be able to look into it. Regards, P.R.
  15. Hello Avielc, I just had a call with the Dev team. There is still an issue with upgrades (clean installation works O.K.), they are looking into it as we speak and will decide how to proceed, but we cannot give any promises so far :-( Will try to keep you posted. Regards, P.R.
  16. Hello, in case the activation still fails (after 10:00 CEST) after the system reboot as well, please provide me with Wireshark log capturing packets from the activation attempt (please start the logging before the attempt starts and stop it after you receive the error) and output from ESET Log Collector tool to check. Regards, P.R.
  17. Hello, in case the issue persists please reboot the system as some results may be cached. System restart was required on one of our testing systems with this issue as well. Regards, P.R.
  18. Hello, we had a rare false positive on revoked certificate check (OCSP Must Staple) in our SSL/TLS scanner. Regards, P.R.
  19. Hello, the issue is fixed by Internet protection module version 1308, currently available for ESET Insiders only. I can verify the fix for Chromex64, Firefox32 and Internet explorer 11. Can you please confirm the fix on your side as well? Regards, P.R.
  20. Have you restarted the machine after disabling the WD? If not please do so.
  21. Hello Peteyt, O.K. I will check it with Devs as I was able to reproduce the issue myself. Regards, P.R.
  22. Hello, it will take some time to have EP 6.6 generally available, but our developers are working on a hot fix for the version 6.5 as well. Regards, P.R.
  23. Hello guys, Marcos probably meant manually created full memory dump (not a dump from a crash), the creation is described in this KB article: http://support.eset.com/kb380/?locale=en_US it is done by the system on quite low level so even frozen system should be able to generate one, if configured properly. Can you please try to manually disable the Windows Defender, restart the system and let us know if the issue persists? Regards, P.R.
  24. In case you need the files I would recommend to recover them for a backup or download from the original source, if possible. If these two options are not possible you may try to get then back by the deleted file recovery tools, in this case try to minimize writes to the disk before the recovery. In case you think that the detections are false positives please submit them for analysis as described in http://support.eset.com/kb141/?locale=en_US
