  1. Hello, The license indeed shows up as a trial license in our license database. How did you obtain the license? Did you buy it? (If so, where?) Did you win it as part of some promotion?
  2. Hello, Before you activated with the 1-year license, was the app in a free mode (i.e. limited features with no time restrictions) or a trial mode (i.e. full features for one month)? On top of answering this question, please also post a screenshot of the About screen and your Public license ID, so that we can check this (do not post your License key!) Thanks, T.
  3. Hello, There was an issue with the latest update to version 9.0.396, we have removed the update from our servers and we are working on a fix. In the meantime, the product is fully functional (if you open ESET GUI, you will see "You are protected" and you can also verify it by downloading an Eicar test file - it will be detected), the issue is that the product does not report its state (and presence) to the Windows Security Center, thus the notification from Windows. We apologize for this issue, we work hard to release a fix very soon. T.
  4. Hello TomFace, it's a shared effort, so thanks go to all the staff
  5. That is also true. The problem only manifests when there is a higher load on our servers.
  6. Due to a last minute change, we have decided to postpone the release (we'd rather release it in the best condition possible), it should be out by next week at the latest.
  7. Hi KogMaw, In order to find out what exactly is being scanned, go to Advanced setup (by pressing F5) > Antivirus > On-demand computer scan, choose the profile used for the scanning and then below, find Log all objects and enabled this option. Afterwards, you will see everything scanned with this profile in Tools > Log files > Computer scan > doubleclick on the latest scan. Regards, T.
  8. Hello unicav, I have been approached by our product manager and we'd like to clarify some things. Can you please post the specific product and version number in which you encounter the behavior (along with Android version), attach the screenshots of the mentioned popup messages and also specify when exactly (under what conditions, after what steps...) they show up? Do they show up even when you have a different app open? Thank you, T.
  9. Hello, The website has been unblocked. Regards, T.
  10. Hello, If you believe the website is being blocked mistakenly, you can follow the steps at hxxp://support.eset.com/kb141/ Regards, T.
  11. Hello, As of version 10, we have disabled the notifications by default, so that the user is interrupted only when there is something requiring their attention, not when "everything is OK". Of course, anyone who still wants to see the notifications can enable them, just as stackz wrote above me. T.
  12. Sorry, from your post it was not obvious that the issue you described was on a mobile device, the steps I provided were for desktop ESET Endpoint Security for Windows. (My bad - I have not noticed it was posted in the "mobile products" section, as I did not reach this topic from the forum's main page.) Anyway, no, it is currently not possible to configure this behavior in ESET Endpoint Security for Android. I have now submitted this as a suggestion for the product, thank you for voicing your feedback.
  13. Hello catres, This is currently not possible, but it is tracked as one of the improvements suggested for future versions. Regards, T. (Note: I have deleted your duplicate post in the home products section.)
  14. Hello, The newer builds contain mainly bugfixes of the issues reported previously by testers.
  15. Hello, First time posters need to be approved by the forum staff. You are now ready to post. Regards, T.
  16. Hello unicav, The behavior you describe is definitely not in default settings, yours must have been changed (checked whether some policy has set that). As for the setting, go to Setup > Advanced setup > User interface > Alerts and notifications and set the "Minimum verbosity of events to display" to "Informative" (you have probably set it to Diagnostic). Regards, T.
  17. I checked the permissions and indeed only forum staff are allowed this.
  18. Hello, If you believe the website is being blocked mistakenly, you can follow the steps at hxxp://support.eset.com/kb141/ Regards, T.
  19. Hello, You can change your display name at https://forum.eset.com/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=displayname but that won't change your login details. If you want to remove the account altogether and sign up again, please send me a PM with this request, I'll follow it up. Thanks, T.
  20. Hello Markus K., you are now approved (and sorry for the delay). T.
  21. Hi, What version of our product do you have installed? In version 9, there is Banking and Payment protection which monitors the browsers, so that could have something to do with that. T.
  22. @TomasP: No answer? And no Information? In the following weeks, there should be a newer build available, containing all the recent bugfixes, being another step closer to the final release. As for when that happens, you have to wait and see, for the time being
  23. Hello kit, I replied to you in your separate topic, please follow the steps there. Hello bbraunstein, Please send me a PM with a reference to this topic and attach logs created according to the manual at hxxp://support.eset.com/kb3404/ Follow the steps precisely, start logging (by typing the requested string to Terminal, as described in step 4) right before reproducing the issue and once the issue occurs, finish logging, again by typing the requested string from step 5. In step 8, instead of emailing the output, or opening a case with our customer care, just send the output (with a short description of the issue) to me in a personal message here on the forum. Thanks, T.
  24. Hello, You can purchase a license at hxxp://www.eset.com/store/
  25. Hello megabc, we redesigned our website this week, so the correct link now is: https://www.eset.com/int/support/sysrescue/ The post you replied to is 2 years old, the link was active back then, and also during all the time afterwards, up till the website changed this week.
