This is excellent! Well, as I hear so often, people tend to take the word of someone they know over any brand. Honestly, I'm the same way. Depending on the nature of the message, sometimes it just has more weight and credibility when it comes from a user vs a brand. So our deep thanks for going through all of this work and writing out an amazing analysis. You don't happen to be on Spiceworks do you? This could be a great topic of discussion there (which is already going on in a couple spots in the community) where established AV vendors like ESET are being hit hard for "not performing well" on RanSim.

Essentially it depends on what country you're in. Most eset.com pages should include a redirect for eset.com/contact (or a Contact link at the far bottom of the home page, link within "Support" in the menu at the top, etc) which will provide much of the current contact information relevant to your local office, partner or distributor.

Just a few questions to help us understand your issue: You mentioned the version of the ESET product you are running is 6.3 - is this ESET NOD32 Antivirus or is this our business product, either ESET Endpoint Antivirus or ESET Mail Security? It is also difficult to clearly understand the issue you are having with your email. Please tell me if I am correct and if not, hopefully you can communicate the problem more clearly: With the ESET plugin enabled in Outlook, your mail loads into Outlook whenever you open it from the File Directory. If I understand correctly, this is not what you want. With the ESET plugin disabled in Outlook, your mail does not load into Outlook if you try to open it from File Directory. If I understand correctly, this is how you would like it to be. You would like to maintain email protection but disable the option for mail to autoload into the inbox. So again, if I understand correctly, Outlook is not your preferred email client. If this is so, you can disable integration of ESET with Outlook. From within Outlook 2010: Click File → Options. Click Add-ins. Select the ESET Outlook Add-in from the list of add-ins and then click Go. Deselect the check box next to ESET Outlook Add-in and confirm by clicking OK If you're using ESET Mail Security 6.3, the solution may be different. If I am not correctly understanding your issue, please let us know.

Autumn Challenge - contribute quality content and win cool prizes!

Can the winner (and I use that term very loosely) request a photo with or without cruise ship in dock? -
It would for you since you're not in that region. He could also remove "/tools/" and just try https://www.eset.com/store which should redirect to the ESET page in his region.
-
Have you tried https://store.esetme.com/ You can also try contacting one of the partners in your region. You can find a list of those here: https://www.eset.com/int/business/partner/find/pakistan/

Help uninstalling AT&T Support Plus PC Maintenance Toolbox
dwomack replied to EAV-0166744271's topic in General Discussion
Since we don't make the software, it's difficult to say. If standard Control Panel uninstallation methods aren't working and the program folder has no uninstall option, you may need to reach out to AT&T Support for assistance there. You can also try to contact the product manufacturers, Sutherland Global Services but they don't appear to have any online support options available on their website; only phone numbers you can call based on what region you're in. Google searches resulted in various sites pushing their own uninstaller tools, none of which appeared trustworthy. Conclusion: I'd recommend reaching out to AT&T first, then Sutherland if AT&T are unable to help. -
We're on it! I'm connecting with the product managers now to verify. Based on KB2893, ESET File Security 4.5 for Linux/FreeBSD is compatible with: Linux Kernel version 2.6.x or later; glibc 2.3.6 or later Dazuko kernel module 2.0.0 or later FreeBSD – Version 9.x RedHat should fall under the Linux Kernel. Maybe this will help provide more details. This is from the online-help. hxxp://help.eset.com/efs/4/en-US/sysreq.htm

"If I reinstall my operating system and reinstall ESET...it will detect it as the same computer?" Yes "What if I want to transfer ESET from an old computer (one it was installed on before) to a new one?" You can do this and it won't count against your total "users" count. The only time that old HDD or old computer would show up as an extra device on your "users" count, is if it: A.) Still had ESET installed on it AND B.) Was connected to the internet If either one of those is not the case, then you have nothing to worry about.

proxy setting on Av client or server or agent ?
dwomack replied to Amel's topic in ESET Endpoint Products
I'll also add that we ask (for security reasons) that you not use your license username as your username on the forums. See Rule #1 here: https://forum.eset.com/topic/76-rules-of-the-eset-security-forum/ Please change your username. To do that: At the top of the forums page, on the left in the header click your username Click "My Settings" On the left side of the screen, click "Display Name" Type your new display name (NOT your license number or password) Type your current Forums password Click Save Changes -
How to reset password on Mobile Security Beta?
dwomack replied to Lorelay S's topic in ESET Beta Products for Home Users
The beta password likely won't work since it's now in production. There are two potential options: 1. Purchase a paid license and use the key from that or 2. uninstall the app and reinstall the latest version from Google Play.
