  1. DESlock Client 4.8.16 has been released and is available to download. DESlock Client 4.8.16 Fixed: Removable Media Encryption. Fixed a problem introduced in v4.8.15 which would cause Windows Explorer to hang when inserting Removable Media. This would also cause the machine to hang during shutdown. Fixed: Full Disk Encryption. Fixed a problem which affected the previous versions installation process when over installing, or performing an installation repair, when Full Disk Encrypted. The installation would appear to hang and/or the machine could blue screen (BSOD). (Over installation of the same version is possible when using an updated Merged Installation package from an Enterprise server, or when switching installation language.) Fixed: A problem with Managed Uninstall codes (Enterprise Client only). Fixed: A problem upgrading from old client versions (v4.3.112 and v4.3.114) which would cause Windows to not boot after upgrading. This affected upgrades from those old versions to all releases between v4.8.3 and 4.8.15. 3. Update troubleshooting: http://support.eset.com/en_EN/kb2850/
  4. yes, the same is true for the /US site, I think all the download pages are being updated to match https://www.eset.com/int/business/server-antivirus/shared-local-cache/download/ but haven't happened yet.
  5. Additionally, the redirect seems to be fixed and working properly so additional tickets can be submitted using the in-product web form as normal.
  6. Sorry about that, I tested that and I'm seeing the same thing myself. There is definitely the added benefit of automatically attaching the relevant system logs using the in-product support request, but until the redirect is resolved (that's what I think it is because the form itself is still working properly), you can still submit a support request using the web form: https://www.eset.com/int/support/contact/
  7. I will update kb3694 with the latest download link https://download.eset.com/com/eset/apps/business/eslc/linux/latest/eslc.x86_64.rpm.bin I will fix the errant hyperlink in the Forum Announcement. Thanks and sorry. Fer
  8. How are you submitting a support request, there are a few different options so we would need to know which one isn't working http://support.eset.com/kb3742/
  9. When you say "documentation," where do you mean exactly? Have you read through the VM FAQ? Using ESET version 6 Business products on virtual machines—FAQ http://support.eset.com/kb3674/ I would like to make sure that questions such as yours are addressed in the FAQ, so I will monitor this thread to see if there's any additional content we can include there.
  10. FYI, we posted an Alert related to this issue Upgrade to ERA 6.5 may take some time to complete
  11. Oh no! I think they are changing the website--I linked to their documentation "landing page" because it was such a convenient way to see all current user guides for ALL products, but it looks like that is gone too.
  12. I was forwarded this info if the issue is that you can't log in when there's no internet connection (such as in Safe Mode) and/or your MS account isn't available: If you are not able to login without Internet in Windows 10, the first time you login to your PC with an Internet connection do the following: Start > Go to your account > a popup will appear > select Change account settings There will be an option to use local account as administrator, choose that option. The next time you restart your PC, you can login to your PC without an Internet connection. We're trying to replicate what you're experiencing so we can appropriately update any relevant content for other W10 users.

  16. Thanks to @GCGfor the documentation links, but I recommend bookmarking the Online Help for ERA (and all others that are available via Online Help, you can see the list at help.eset.com) because we are constantly updating and expanding documentation, and the most up-to-date content will be on Online Help http://help.eset.com/era_install/65/en-US/index.html
  17. Thanks for the confirmation, I have added a new FAQ for this here http://support.eset.com/kb6181/#ChangeMasterPassword and will work to get something added to online help topic as well -- thanks for the feedback! p.s. Anyone can and should leave feedback on existing KB content by clicking the "Was this information helpful?" links at the bottom of articles--we really do review these! ( and only) and make article edits based on user feedback.
  18. It's just saying that to run the tool, you need to be in Safe Mode http://support.eset.com/kb2268/#W10
  19. If you were just trying to change an existing, known master password, I will admit that it's not too easy to find in the settings, and afaik there isn't any documentation for that (the setting is mentioned here http://help.eset.com/essp/10/en-US/settings.htm but doesn't tell you how to access that). Is this what you did: To change a known master password (not a forgotten one), Open ESET Smart Security Premium > Tools > click gear icon next to Password Manager > Open Password Manager > click Menu in upper right-hand corner > click Settings > Security > Change password next to Master Password. Whew. I'll write some steps for how to change Master Password and update KB content.
  20. I'm forwarding this to our Customer Care for an answer right now JJ_SG, in the mean time did you get an email to the email you used for the Trial, with the new License Key? Hopefully you used a primary email address for the trial? These instructions should work if its tied to your Google account (it sounds like it is if you used Google Play to make purchase): Activate premium features in ESET Mobile Security http://support.eset.com/kb3429/
  21. The only information I have is that there has been a market request already to add MariaDB, but I don't know how long that could take. As you know, it's not officially supported, but we are aware of its use--if it is was added to future build, we would be sure to clearly communicate that and update the FAQ as well: http://help.eset.com/era_install/64/en-US/index.html?faq.htm Can I use MariaDB instead of MySQL? MariaDB is a default database in many Linux environments, however, it is not supported by ESET Remote Administrator! Please make sure to install MySQL for ESET Remote Administrator to work properly.
  22. No problem from me to post publicly available content. I was out on paternity leave for two months so I was unable to make the forum posts during this time, but I've gone ahead and made the pinned thread:
