  1. See Solution 1 in this KB article https://support.eset.com/kb2933/, apply the same settings in Solution 1 to an ERA policy. To do this using ERA, see https://support.eset.com/kb3478/
  2. We do have a specific KB article for EFSW on Terminal server using Citrix: https://support.eset.com/kb3699/
  3. We have an Online Help guide for Gateway Security, but I don't think there are any specific topics on configuring the firewall. If you manage EGS using ESET Remote Administrator, you should review the ERA guide for remote management options. Here's a KB article that may help as well: https://support.eset.com/kb3664/
  4. For reporting PUA detections and possible false positives, please use https://support.eset.com/kb141/.
  5. We have created a troubleshooting wizard for EMS users, you can use that to help you unlock your device, and let us know through the feedback form on the support page (bottom, click "Was this information helpful?") if the step doesn't work for you: https://support.eset.com/unlockems/
  6. I am looking into this alert. We have an Online Help for License Manager and we will be continuously updating it with content, but this particular issue isn't documented yet. http://help.eset.com/license_manager/en-US/?index.html
  7. UEFI Scanner—Proactive scanning that runs in the background and only notifies you if a problem is detected. Screenshot of a detection available in the What's new in version 11 KB article.
  8. ESET Smart Security has been replaced by ESET Internet Security with version 11, for more information and to upgrade to ESET Internet Security for free, see https://www.eset.com/us/home/smart-security/#existing Version 11 announcement Questions or comments are welcomed.
  9. ESET Smart Security has been replaced by ESET Internet Security with version 11, for more information and to upgrade to ESET Internet Security for free, see https://www.eset.com/us/home/smart-security/#existing
  10. I think that the only currently available, public info about the UEFI scanner is on the KB What's New: https://support.eset.com/kb6564/#UEFIScanner
  11. ESET has no comment on this story at this time ("Kaspersky compromised") as details are still emerging. However, our implementation is different and we operate under the laws of the EU, and Slovakia is a member of the European Union and NATO. Slovakia is also on the list of DOD approved countries (http://gsa.federalschedules.com/resources/taa-designated-countries/).
  12. I'm told (from ESET malware support) that this looks similar in behavior to other toolbar PUAs (http://www.virusradar.com/en/Win32_Adware.Toolbar.Visicom.AB/description) -- are you seeing this in Chrome? If so, follow the same instructions in this KB https://support.eset.com/kb6551/, making sure that you don't have sync enabled or it will keep coming back. Otherwise, submit support request for malware tech support to look into it: https://support.eset.com/kb3742/
  13. There's an ongoing discussion on this detection at https://forum.eset.com/topic/13073-jsmindsparke/, please continue with the discussion there. Basically you'll need to disable syncing of Chrome extensions to prevent the PUA from being continually downloaded and detected. Having said that, we'll draw this topic to a close.
  14. We have fixed the issue afaik with the redirects, which was causing the security certificate issue.
  15. We do have a KB that may help, depending on what you wanted to use the DG for. The KB instructions show how to create a task, I don't think there's a DG template to do this: "The "Delete not connecting computers" task lets you remove computers according to specified criteria. If the ERA Agent on a client computer has not connected for a number of days, it can be removed from ERA Web Console." https://support.eset.com/kb6169/
  16. Just in case anyone else is also looking for the answer to the question "how to rollback an update" (independent of this thread's issue, which I am not commenting on), the KB is: https://support.eset.com/kb3351/
  17. You can open and use the browser directly from ESET for sites that don't open. https://support.eset.com/KB5657/#OpeningSecuredBrowser
  18. Really? A different one than the image in the KB article? that sounds exactly like what you wrote: "Google Chrome was trying to communicate over a channel encrypted with an untrusted certificate" If you get it again can you upload a screenshot? And you say it has only happened once, and then how to make it go away?
  19. That's strange, if you're just using your my.eset.com credentials to SIGN IN to the Parental Control app, and you've used those same credentials to login via Chrome on laptop, it should work. What does it say when the credentials are rejected? You are connected to internet at the time of signing in?
  20. This one? https://support.eset.com/kb6407/ What site, or for any/all sites?
  21. 1) the individual support ticket sites are by region, so if there's an issue with the /uk page, that would be resolved by the UK team, I've notified them of this thread 2) where are you finding that kb.eset.com link? That is a really old link, we migrated to support.eset.com some time ago. Maybe the security alert is a result of the redirect. I can mention this to our web team to look at.
  22. The first time ESET detects the PUA (if you have PUA detection enabled), it will prompt you for an action. Selecting “Clean” will close the browser and the extension will not be detected anymore. However, if you have browser extension syncing enabled, then it will continue to be detected by ESET. The workaround in Chrome for this issue is detailed in the KB, no other products are needed to resolve this issue: https://support.eset.com/kb6551/
  23. that's how we roll...accidentally helping users solve issues... p.s. btw, what was the issue that you chose from the automated selection?
