  1. Hello, the preview version of ESET Online Scanner, fixing reported stability issues is available here: hxxp://ftp.nod.sk/~randziak/ESETOnlineScanner_ENU.exe The version is not yet fully tested and approved so use it at your own risk. P.R.
  2. Hello j-gray, we would like to reproduce it internally here, but I'm not sure about the exact steps ;-( you stated, that only real-time protection is enabled, right? It does not help, so it has to be that particular feature. Would it be possible for you to send me an exported configuration from such machine? Or even better with the info_get script output as described here?: hxxp://support.eset.com/kb3404/can you please run it right after the issue occurred? Later in the steps you mentioned you pushed an agent and the Endpoint itself, so it means that the Endpoint was installed before in an non-managed environment? It there an protection, which disabling resolves the issue, or you have to uninstall the endpoint completely? Thank you, P.R.

  6. Hello, we have a version 2.0.12.4, which successfully completed on a machine of a user, which had previously an issue with it. 7. Hello guys, we have few reports of such behavior, but sadly we were not able to reproduce it in-house, which would speed the analysis a lot. Does anyone know steps how to reproduce it? Let's assume I have just a clean MAC computer and I would deliberately like to have the issue. If not it would help us to know, which protection layer causes it. I would recommend to disable all of them on a testing device and turn on by one on and let us know. Thank you for your help, P.R.
  8. Hello Sdnian, do you use any proxy server? If yes, check if it is properly set in the settings. How is the EEA updated? Regards, P.R.
  9. Hello, I would start my response with a joke: A woman asks a programmer how exactly the programming works, he things for a while and says it's a magic :-) The new Anti-ransomware protection is indeed based on HIPS and monitors activity of processes and it's reputation. In case it resembles behavior usual for filecoders it takes an action and informs the user. Regards, P.R.
  10. for a while the servers served older version of updates (delayed by 48 hours) due to multiple BSODs reported on Windows 2003 server environments so we decided to make this countermeasure in order to prevent more cases. The updates were resumed to normal operations and you should be getting the latest ones.

  16. Hello Kevin, can you please try it with the latest version, should be more stable. You can download it here: hxxp://ftp.nod.sk/~randziak/ESETOnlineScanner_ENU.exe To create a crash dump, please download a Procdump tool from Microsoft site: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/dd996900.aspx Run a scan by ESETOnlineScanner than run the Procdump from elevated command prompt with command procdump -ma -e ESETOnlineScanner once ESETOnlineScanner crashes, it will dump a process memory into a file (with .dmp extension). Please pack it with output from ESET Log Collector output, upload it to a safe location and send me and TomasP a private message with the download link and reference to this forum topic, we will check it. Thank you, P.R.
