  1. All you need to do is create a new offline license file and send an activation task to offline clients managed by ESMC.
  2. As I have already told, there are currently no plans to have a free version. We offer only the ESET Online Scanner for free besides trial versions.
  3. Let us know if that helped. Also tell us the exact build of Win10 which is installed. This issue was supposed to be fixed in the October 2018 Update (RS5).
  4. It works either way. Re. the pop-up tooltip, it doesn't say anything about asterisk at the end of the path.
  5. You can use the ESET Online Scanner to scan your computer from time to time. We do not plan to have a fully fledged free version of our products.
  6. If you have excluded the PUA by its detection name, it should not be detected the next time you download it. You can post a screen shot of the PUA exclusion so that we can check it out and make sure it's set up correctly.
  7. Ok, that's a known issue caused by locking the list of SSL/TLS filtered applications by a policy. We've been tracking it as a bug. It should be addressed soon, most likely by an automatic module update.
  8. Upgrade over an older version is fully supported and works so feel free use it. It's a more convenient way than install from scratch which would also reset the scan cache.
  9. Currently this is not possible but we'll consider it for future versions.
  10. Simply re-deploying the ESMC Agent should make the clients connect to ESMC. However, currently you will need to do it twice since the first deployment will upgrade agent to the latest version and the second deployment will actually configure the agent to connect to the new ESMC server. This should change in the future, however, so that both operations are performed in one step.
  11. Import of the previous config should work just fine. Just out of curiosity, what settings did you change from defaults? Did you create custom HIPS or firewall rules for instance?
  12. We kindly ask you to post in English so that moderators and most of other users can understand you. As for retrieving your lost license key, you can try filling in your registration email address at https://www.eset.com/int/support/lost-license/. If you don't receive any email, please contact your local seller from whom you purchased your license.
  13. It's there, just click Advanced download on the download page:
  14. I'd recommend contacting your local support and providing them with information about your license and the names of the troublesome units.
  15. Is it enough to disable Web Control for the issue to go away or https filtering has to be disabled as well? If so, enable advanced logging under Tools -> Diagnostics: - network protection advanced logging - Web Control advanced logging Next reproduce the issue. Then disable logging, gather logs with ELC and provide me with the generated archive.
  16. Does it make a difference if you keep HIPS enabled and temporarily disable only Self-defense (followed by a reboot)? Also please provide a debug HIPS log that you create as follows: - have HIPS and Self-defense enabled (after re-enabling either, the machine has to be restarted) - enable logging of blocked operations in the advanced HIPS setup - reproduce the problem - disable logging Gather logs with ELC and post the generated archive here.
  17. Go for ESET Internet Security if you do not need additional modules, such as Date encryption or Password manager which are included with ESET Smart Security Premium. ESET NOD32 Antivirus is a basic product; it does not contain firewall, Network protection, Home network monitor, Anti-Theft or Parental Control. The most important of them is Network protection which can protect you from malware exploiting vulnerabilities in network protocols to spread across the network from unpatched machines.
  18. Please post a screen shot and also provide me with logs gathered with ELC.
  19. Changing the name from "Home" to another one, e.g. "HomePC" should fix it. This is a known issue of the Anti-Theft portal that should be fixed soon.
  20. After a fresh installation a restart should not be required. Try using the msi parameter SKIP_PENDING_REBOOT_CHECK=1.
  21. Since the website has been cleaned and we didn't find any malware there, we have unblocked it. The procedure for reporting blocked websites is described in the KB https://support.eset.com/kb141/.
  22. As long as the option to evaluate also Windows Firewall rules is enabled, it should work. However, RDP is allowed in the trusted zone by default. For security reasons we do not recommend connecting to machines from outside. Instead, use VPN, 2FA or firewall rules to restrict access to specific IP addresses.
  23. There is no problem with LiveGrid. Probably something is preventing ekrn from connecting to LiveGrid servers.
