  1. I've been using ERA6 for a couple of years on a Windows Server with MSSQL. I recently upgraded ERA7 and ran into a problem with the database. Rather than trying to fix this, I'd rather just move my clients to ERA7 on a Linux host with MySQL. What's the best way to do this? I don't really care about retaining any data, I just need the clients to reconnect to the new server.
  2. Is there a way to set the hostname of an eset agent when we install? We have a naming scheme that we use in conjunction with other products and I'd like to set the name when we install it as it's scripted. maybe something like an environment variable that the agent looks for or something like agent_batch_file.bat -host node.hostname.com I asked about this a while back and was hoping that something may have changed. Thanks!
  3. Is there a way to do this outside of the batch file? Possibly with the MSI file it downloads?
  4. We're using ESET RA for a host of different clients and now when we install the agent, we're getting their external hostname and not the hostname of the machine. So for example, we're getting a lot of cpe-x-x-x-x-.ext-domain.rr.com and can't tell the machines apart. Is there a way with the batch file to specify the hostname that we'd like to use with the agent? Thanks!
