Hello,

you can find it in Advanced settings -> Web and e-mail -> Anti-phishing protection -> Report a phishing site.

Screenshot is attached.

Thank You for the info! I would suggest putting it in a location easy to find like the submit file for analysis.

I agree, a better location than in the setup-tree is needed.

You can report phishing sites via the built-in form after selecting "Suspicious site" from the drop-down menu.

That's good to know Marcos. Thanks.

Thanks for the info Macros! I overlooked that option in the drop down box. I guess I must have been specifically looking for the word phishing. The average user probably would not know what a phishing site is though.

I have noticed that when switching from automatic mode to interactive mode if an application is open, and currently communicating with the internet when switching it will create two entries in the application filter rule settings. It will show application.exe, and application.exe(2) Why is the firewall showing an application as .exe(2) when the only one that exist is simply just .exe.  I don't have two of the same application.

Hello cutting_edgetech,

could you please provide us with exact steps to reproduce the issue?

I tried it myself but, just one rule has been correctly created.

Thank you.

Hips isn't working with Windows 8.1 RTM even after enabling pre-release updates. It stays "disabled" and with the red icon.

No tech support for beta.I guess I will wait until the final release.

No? Sure there is! What do you need help with? :)

Since the HIPS module is disabled in Windows 8.1 RTM, how protected is my system? Should I be concerned in a typical user scenario? Thank you.

No wonder that Windows 8.1 RTM is not yet supported as it leaked and is not officially available to the public yet. The appropriate modules will be updated shortly to support it provided that you have v7 and pre-release updates enabled.

Hello.

1. Right-click on the EICAR test file → “Scan without cleaning”. Don't close the “Computer Scan” window.
2. Click “Show details...”.

3. Click “Close”.

The entry string disappears in the “Computer Scan” window (see screenshots).

Affected versions: 6.0−7.0.

I can't see any issue here. What "entry string" disappears in the Computer scan window but it shouldn't?

Sometimes EAV cannot create ESET SysRescue via the main menu. It takes a long time.

Does the ESET Uninstaller tool support v7? Is there any full list of supported products?
