Failure of Upload Quarantine File
alepetpan replied to alepetpan's topic in ESET PROTECT On-prem (Remote Management)
Can at least somewhere on the server or on the client side, someone find more detailed information about the error? I have already checked on the logs of the server and on the client here (I also generated logs with the log collector): Server -> C:\ProgramData\ESET\RemoteAdministrator\Server\EraServerApplicationData\Logs Client -> C:\ProgramData\ESET\RemoteAdministrator\Agent\EraAgentApplicationData\Logs -
Failure of Upload Quarantine File
alepetpan replied to alepetpan's topic in ESET PROTECT On-prem (Remote Management)
I have already done! I think that it would be more useful to try and suggest something, as this is a forum and other people might see this in the future and have a course of action of what maybe they are doing wrong etc. Anyway thanks for your answer. -

I'm trying to transfer a quarantined file to a Distributed File System (DFS). Unfortunately, I'm facing an error on the client end, with the console showing only a "Failed" progress status without additional information. I've ensured that I'm using the same credentials as when accessing the console, and I've experimented with various combinations of forward and backward slashes in the file path. The following is the error I am getting from the logs of the client device. Error: CEssConnectorModule [Thread 1834]: CWinEssQuarantineUploadTask: Upload quarantine file failed with 12000

Hello everyone, I'm reaching out to inquire about the potential for remote wiping Windows devices using ESET products. Are there any features within ESET's solutions that facilitate remote wiping for Windows devices? Additionally, I'm interested in learning about any best practices recommended by ESET or the community for implementing remote wiping effectively. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Alexandros

Hello, I would like to retrieve the CSV file from the activated devices with a script. Is there any API behind eba.eset.com that I could use. Thank you for your help! Best, Alexandros

Hello, I am trying to syncronise my devices with Active directory. I am trying with the following LDAP Parameters. On the 'Node Display Name Attribute' name. Computers Filter (objectClass=computer) or (objectCategory=computer) or even (!(objectCategory=*)(objectClass=*)) and again all the combinations of them, Computer Description Attribute = description , Computer Hostname Attribute = name, Computer Hostname Regular Expression (.*) But I cannot get all the devices that I want. I can get the devices that are right under a OU but I am getting all the security groups that are inside an builtindomain as devices, so any device that is inside the security group cannot be seen. How can I access the devices under a security group and make a security group to become a group and not a device. Thank you so much in advance! Best, Alexandros

Dear ESET Community, I've been encountering a perplexing issue with the ESET Inspect web console recently. Despite successfully logging in and working on the console, I find myself unexpectedly logged out after a period of time. Additionally, I'm prompted with an authorization warning. Also after logging in again I am getting the same authorization warning. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with the ESET Inspect web console? If so, could you kindly share any insights or solutions you've discovered? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your response. While I appreciate the information you provided, my inquiry encompasses another aspect as well. Specifically, I am seeking clarification on whether it is possible to re-manage devices that have been deleted from the ESET Protect console. Any insights on this matter would be greatly valued.

Greetings, I recently encountered a situation wherein I removed several groups and computers from my ESET Protect console. Recognizing the paramount importance of maintaining precise records and configurations within the console, particularly concerning group and computer management, I seek guidance on rectifying this issue. Could someone kindly provide instructions on restoring deleted groups or computers within the ESET Protect console? Specifically, I am eager to learn how to efficiently delete a group and subsequently synchronize it with Active Directory to ensure the restoration of all pertinent data and its alignment with the latest updates. It appears that while the group is restored during syncing, the unmanaged computers within it do not reappear. Similarly, when a device is removed, restoring it seems to present challenges. Is there a method to restore these components? I sincerely appreciate any assistance provided. Thank you in advance!
