Windows 10 Release Date on July 29, Will Eset be Ready?

Recommended Posts

I'm currently running the Insiders Preview. Since there are so many builds being released and Eset would have to update individual versions to support them, I'm not using NOD32. I'm using Defender instead, only for the moment. I'll be jumping to the the final RTM version of Windows 10 as it comes out. I hope Eset has plans to support it right away 'cause I miss my favorite security software. :)

BTW, Windows 10 is looking very good.

I guess ESET is asleep, so no answer to your question.

Can't wait to use NOD32 on Windows 10. Right now I'm using Windows defender because I am staying away with nonMicrosoft programs as much as I can until the 29th or later.

Been with 10 since the beginning.

I would presume one of the versions will be Win 10 compatible on release date. Even if v9 beta is not finished by then, they might even update v8 to work in the interim ?

No answers from Eset. They used to be such nice people. :(

I miss the Wilders Security Forums days of glory. :(

Hi guy, we are working on support for Win10 build 10240 (this looks like the final RTM build, but it's not officially confirmed yet), updated installers (version 8, version 9 beta) will be available in just  couple of days.

Nice to know that! Can't wait to install it back. I'm running build 10240 and I'm almost sure this is RTM final. Thank you for the response.

A new v9 build with full Win10 RTM compatibility will be released by the beginning of next week (before official Win10 release), we just needed to check if everything's compatible with "zero day update package" that will be released on July 29th.

Updated installer packages with Win 10 RTM compatible modules are available on hxxp://www.eset.com/int/download/beta-versions/
