ESET Smart Security vs DDoS Attack ?

Hi all been a while ever since I have not posted ok let's get to the problem ?

 

I like to test any program or software trial before buying ok i test eset smart security v8 I explained several times the protection is 0 for your network if a kid,noob,hacker try to ddos you is shut down your network and your firewall from eset smart security v8 have 0 protection against this attack

 

with each years kid,noob,hacker gain more power with this attack and many Company they do not care yes add antivirus+firewall but if the firewall have 0 protection for your network why you add this security ? you have documented on the internet because this attack gain more power with each years we need very strong firewall protect your network home when some on try to shut down with ddos attack etc

 

we are 2016 soon 2017 come on stop create weak firewall because you have 0 protection for your network ddos attack gain more power with each new years and hate this attack

 

now i test trial eset smart security v9 but now I saw eset smart security v10 premium what protection offers these 2 versions for your network when some kid,noob,hacker try to shut down your network home ?

 

I have free server MuOnline where players come to play and sometimes I have problems with ddos attack and shut down my network home I have not yet found no company with antivirus+firewall have strong firewall to protect my network home when some kid,noob,hacker try to attack me

If I am correct, a ddos attack doesn't even get to your network. The isp gets overloaded trying to connect.

 

Please correct me if I am wrong.

A ddos attack can be mitigated by the ISP and they usually are , routers have a firewall , and in the event of a ddos reaching them they would likely fall over (reboot) a lot, unless your ip address changed,  ESET's firewall  i think is to prevent malware using your connection to take part in ddos events without your knowlage rather than to prevent incoming ddos attacks,

But it is a layer of defence  to prevent hackers gaining access to your pc

Eset does include a network attack protection (IDS) option that is as far as I know ticked by default in the personal firewall settings.

As the earlier posts state, ddos attacks are not something home users will experience as it is something generally targeted at websites, servers etc. If you want DDOS protection for a server you will need a product that is designed for this, rather than a product that is aimed at home users. There are plenty of DDOS solutions out there, but they probably won't be cheap and even using them, you can never guarantee 100 percent safety

You are not reading what I am saying. You are complaining about an Eset home product that is designed just for that, a home user. It is not designed for servers as servers are generally something used more by professionals than an average home user. You can keep complaining but it won't change the fact you will need something that is tailored to DDOS attacks.

 

If you don't believe me read this hxxp://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/archive/hosting-discussion/2546841-help-with-ddos-on-home-run-serveror simply google preventing ddos for home users. Basically without paying for a good server which offers protection there's nothing else you can do. If you are hosting the server yourself, it is very easy for someone to overload it. Reliable hosters have a lot of things in place to help and even they struggle.

yes because eset smart security have firewall but 0 protection for your network any kid,noob,hacker just ddos you and shut down your network It is quite sad and the company does not take any action for these types of attacks

 

the only update I see at any company is change the interface maybe the settings but never never upgrade the firewall to have strong protection for your network when some noob try to shut down your network

 

you no need to have server home for hackers to ddos you so plss you can play any game online such as Counter-Strike 1.6 and some kid,noob,hacker just shut down your network because your firewall from antivirus have 0 protection

 

why to buy dedicated servers which cost a lot when you upgrade the firewall antivirus to have this protection against this attacks it is very simple

According to you your solution worked and now it doesn't. Why don't you take your argument to the providers of the equipment and software and tell them to fix it to work like it did back when you posted that you found your solution?

 

You are in agreement that the cost of the type of protection you need and want for your server is expensive. What makes you think that if Eset produced what you want that it wouldn't be just as expensive as everyone else that provides it?

 

Just three more things for you to ponder. 1. If it were as "simple" for Eset as you claim in your last post I'm pretty sure it would have been done a long time ago by Eset. 2. If you want to have a server online hardened against a DDOS attack then either you have to pay the cost to protect it or suffer the DDOS attacks. 3. The solution is out there you just have to buy it. Saying that it's to expensive is like me saying that I want a bigger motor in my car but I don't want to pay for it.

many years ago these types of attacks like dos or ddos they were not so strong now the years 2016 soon 2017 any kid,noob,hacker just shut down your network in seconds and the company they do not care what they care about making money create same weak firewall same with firewall windows 0 protection for your network nothing has changed boring

 

you know how much cost a dedicate server with strong protection against this types of attacks ? It costs a lot and I can not afford because I'm not rich

 

the idea is if the antivirus have firewall then dude create strong firewall to protect your network against this types of attacks you can not create weak firewall because the ddos attacks become nr 1 very strong wake up to reality weak firewall same with windows firewall this is no protection is like this i have 0 firewall offline and 0 protection online for my network
