  1. The instructions one should read before posting say: Do not report blocked websites After cleaning a website from malware and taking measures to prevent further re-infection, request a re-check as per the instructions in the FAQ. This forum does not serve as a channel for requesting website re-check or disputing blocks or detections. Please continue accordingly. Also I strongly recommend that you upgrade from v8 to the latest version 12.1.31 for maximum protection and improved performance and other fixes. Having said that, we'll draw this topic to a close.
  2. To my best knowledge, it should work either way; ie. you should be able to activate the web version with a license for the GP version.
  3. ESET Internet Security is a single product for Windows. For comparison with other products for Windows, see https://www.eset.com/int/home/for-windows/. ESET Multi-device security allows you to install products on multiple devices regardless of the operating system. For more information, please read https://www.eset.com/int/home/multi-device-security/.
  4. Has the issue been resolved? Yesterday we performed a full export of all licenses to update servers which might have eventually resolved it.
  5. It's a legitimate offer to participate in an improvement program and submit anonymous information about product usage. It's at your discretion whether you can accept or decline the offer.
  6. Please gather logs with ESET Log Collector for Mac as per https://support.eset.com/kb3404/, raise a support ticket for customer care and provide them with the archive generated by the tool.
  7. That's exactly what I wrote - only all users with pre-release updates have the latest version of modules. The others will receive the latest versions gradually after some time.
  8. 1, This forum is not a channel for disputing detections. A correct procedure for reporting possible false positives to ESET is described at https://forum.eset.com/topic/18734-how-do-i-report-a-false-positive-or-whitelist-my-software-with-eset/. 2, This is not a false positive. The application is correctly classified as a potentially unwanted application (PUA). For more information what PUAs are, please read https://support.eset.com/kb2629. Having said that, we'll draw this topic to a close.
  9. Normally you should be redirected to your local e-shop from the international purchase page. I assume the support staff didn't understand autorenewal because they don't support it in Denmark either and you'll need to contact ESET, LLC from the US.
  10. Behavioral monitor 1068.1 has not been released yet for all users. Only all users with pre-release updates have received it so far. The same goes for the Anti-Stealth module. The latest version 1150 has not been released yet for all users.
  11. Please contact your local distributor. In most countries we don't support autorenewal so if it's possible in your country and you opted for it in the past, your local distributor is the right one to contact.
  12. It is early Monday morning now and you posted during the weekend. When time allows, we'll check the logs. Have you already raised a ticket for your local customer care?
  13. If you had an exe or dll file infected with a virus that adds its code into legitimate files, then cleaning would mean sanitizing (modifying) the file in a way to ensure that the malicious code is not executed at all.
  14. The following point is a part of instructions one should read before posting: Do not request a website re-check After cleaning a website from malware and taking measures to prevent further re-infection, request a re-check as per the instructions in the FAQ. This forum does not serve as a channel for requesting website re-check or disputing blocks or detections.

    VPN

We don't offer VPN and there are currently no such plans in the near future. There are plenty of VPN solutions that you can use.
  16. You've already reported it here: https://forum.eset.com/topic/17991-as-soon-as-possible-option-of-scheduler/. Please keep the discussion within the same topic. To prevent duplicate topics on the subject, we'll draw this one to a close.
  17. Try the following: - in safe mode uninstall ESET using the Uninstall tool (https://support.eset.com/kb2289/) - install the latest v12.1.31 from scratch Should the problem persist, gather logs with ESET Log Collector and post the generated archive here. At the same time raise a support ticket for customer care and provide them with the logs as well.
  18. Normally files like exe or dlls should be cleaned automatically. Cleaning means sanitizing the infected file (if there's a code that can be cleaned, such as malicious macros or virus infection) and also unregistering it from the system (e.g. from the registry). Deleting means merely removing the malicious file.
  19. Cibc.com supports http/2 which is not currently supported by BPP. You can launch a secure browser from your desktop and open the bank's url in it.
  20. If children can easily guess parent's PIN, you should create one that is not easy to guess.
  21. In automatic mode all non-initiated incoming communication is blocked. You'll need to create a new permissive rule for local ports 1883 and 8883 and put in on the top of other rules, if you have any. Shouldn't that work, try pausing the firewall for a while and see if it actually makes a difference since you may need to set up port forwarding on a router to make it work.
  22. Try disabling all Chrome extensions and then narrow it down to the one that triggers the detection.
  23. 1, Uninstall 360 Total Security 2, In safe mode, remove ESET completely using the Uninstall tool (https://support.eset.com/kb2289/) 3, Install the latest version of your ESET product from scratch.
