There is no issue visible in the video. The main gui always opened immediately or with a few ms delay. Definitely I didn't notice a delay longer than 0.5 let's say. A very minor delay is caused by the fact that egui now quits to save memory when inactive. The code has been already optimized to shorten the delay to the bare minimum so that it's virtually unnoticeable.

What problem do you mean? Please post a screen shot of a warning or error message that you are getting.

You have Win32/Agent.AABQ trojan and Win32/TrojanDownloader.Agent.DVC trojan running there. The detection was added in Nov 2018 and Jan 2019 respectively. Please run a disk scan with ESET Online Scanner and clean the malware. Move the following files to a new folder (e.g. c:\esetvir). Next reboot the machine, compress the content of the folder and submit the archive to samples[at]eset.com. I'd suggest raising a support ticket for customer care. It is weird that ELC has some issues gathering logs, perhaps a Procmon log from the time ELC is running could shed more light.

I have no clue what you mean by "locked key". The license is valid, everything is ok and working like a charm.

Not sure what you meant by expanded view. Maximized view? If so, I've tried it with 12.0 and it behaved the same way; after a computer restart gui was not maximized.

Was ESET able to update the modules after activation? I've tested authentication against LiveGrid servers with your username/password and it worked. Please gather logs with ESET Log Collector and provide the generated archive to start with.

As seen in the screen shot, please contact your local customer care if you have purchased the license in order to have it checked.

The fact is that you've been using a leaked license key that can be found on the Internet. Have you checked if you were really charged for the renewal? The fact is that it was a license key from a PC magazine that leaked and should not allow purchasing renewals. I recommend contacting German support and asking for a refund if you were really charged. Then you could purchase a new license through the e-shop.

Did you keep the default scheduled tasks intact? Especially the two startup scan tasks.

The thing is that in previous versions egui was running all the time and unnecessarily consuming precious memory. After leaving gui, it was minimized so the next time you clicked the icon the gui was restored. As of v12.1, egui is closed completely when you close it. Instead, egui proxy is run and its icon is displayed in the system tray. I'll check with devs if it's doable to remember the last gui window that was open before quitting gui and restore it later. As for the scheduler issue, Itman has reported a similar one. We'll check it out and fix it as soon as possible if the bug is confirmed.

If v7 server products are installed on the servers and a policy enabling EDTD has been applied to all of them but EDTD has not been activated through a product activation task, further investigation would be needed to find out why the other servers don't report the error or why the error disappears at times.

We are open to any constructive feedback. Please provide more details about what you would expect and we'll consider it.

Before we consult this with devs, could you try scheduling a new task and see if the issue occurs? We should know if it's caused by the upgrade and the issue is with already existing tasks or if it concerns new tasks as well.

This particular detection requires detection of potentially unsafe applications to be enabled which is disabled by default, however, since it covers legitimate tools that may be misused in the wrong hands for malicious purpose.
