SweX 871
There is no specific setting for ransomware malware detection on/off. Your previous thread on the same topic/question is here: https://forum.eset.com/topic/7355-nod32-ransomware-protection/ Edited April 1, 2016 by SweX

Administrators Marcos 5,399 Posted April 14, 2016 Administrators Share Posted April 14, 2016 There's also a network scanner in ESET Smart Security and ESET Endpoint Security v6+ which can block malicious communication at the network level to increase protection even more. Also there is a mechanism in v7+ and Endpoint v6+ which is aimed at better detection and termination of malware encrypting files.
itman 1,786
I came across an interesting posting over at bleepingcomputer.com who is running point on the fight against ransomware malware. Note that only two mainstream AV/anti-malware products were recommended for ransomware protection and Eset was one of them: hxxp://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/611096/has-ransomware-become-uncatchable-with-todays-av/?p=3979209 Edited April 14, 2016 by itman
