There is no issue with .exe downloads. Those are being blocked upon download after LiveGuard submission occurs. The issue is with script downloads not being blocked.
To date, LiveGuard behavior in regards to receiving a safe verdict response for a prior submission is the following.
You will only receive this response if you physically try to access a LiveGuard submitted file that is currently blocked. Otherwise when the LiveGuard analysis is completed and a safe verdict rendered, the file will be silently unlocked and no user notification in any form will be provided to the user as to the safe verdict status.

New_Style_xd gave kudos to peteyt in Why is there no dark mode in ESET for desktop?
    This is exactly my point.
If people class these missing features as basic, to me surely that should be the priority.
If eset does decide to tweak the UI then great but when the next major version is released I'd be more happy to see newer security features and improved security features over the UI.
I use Firewall in automatic mode but used to use it in manual. One of my biggest criticisms UI wise is the Firewall rules editor is not that UI friendly. You can't simply see the names e.g program 1 as it adds text to the start and unlike years ago there's not a logo icon to go with the names. As the Firewall works with an order system I.e higher rules take precedence so you can't actually arrange them by name.
As much as I dislike the above method and hope one day to see it changed, I'd rather see improvements on actual security features.

Interesting that the question of the resources and the reasonableness of their use is so often mentioned here. But guys, Eset is one of the largest anti-virus companies in the world (I believe it's in the top 5, if you don't take into account the Chinese and Indian markets), which invests huge money in various projects, such as the innovative IT complex in Bratislava. But when we talk about resources, the feeling is that Eset is a company of the level of my not less respected, but really small companies from Finland and New Zealand (I will not mention the names here).
I've also been waiting for dark mode for a very long time. I really like to add new blocked hosts to the web filter, using the antivirus as a simple ad blocker and tracker, as well as manage the firewall and exceptions.

There may be many people that do that but the percentage for that figure is going to be tiny in comparison to regular users that install once and then never look at the GUI again. It's understandable why they haven't allocated any resources to it. But PC techs will be happy that the GUI remains fairly consistent year on year. Unlike other software companies that insist on changing their GUI every year to make it look like there have been improvements.

I've been waiting for years, about the dark mode for the eset. As you said, most companies already have dark mode in their security products. What we have to answer is without the same thing that an antivirus does not need to be used directly, the user should not notice the antivirus etc...
But they forgot that there are many people who spend time configuring the antivirus on clients' computers, especially the pc technicians who are supporting the clients. should look more into this. It would be much easier and more satisfying for the customers you have today.
I'm another one who wants dark mode in ESET's consumer products.

Even ESET online help documents support dark mode. ESET desktop products should support dark mode as well. 🙃

The staff clamor for a button to activate the dark mode, those who don't want it don't click on the button.

I'm also always opening and looking at the program's settings, some people don't, but I and a lot like to open the interface almost every day, adding a dark mode would please both sides, the ones that don't mess and the ones that open the program, it's a simple thing, put the button, who likes the dark mode just select it, who doesn't like it, leave it as is. 😉

Thanks to the ESET Team, the problems were fixed and the GPU worked again, with the correction made.

    Another GPU image back.

You're right. Surely, I know, but it does work and still browsers and all programs run on it .... All programs receive automatic update or the IOBIT program tells me and it soon updates which is needed
I tried windows 10 for a week and soon uninstalled. I hate it and for me windows 7 is the best of all.
On the other hand, windows 10 can also be infected with the ransoms. i noticed many people complain in sites which deal with ransoms as well as in the YouTube. I am not the only one in the world whose PC got infected. 10 years or more I avoided myself not to go to malicious sites of cracks and till the last incident I was safe. The matter I who brought the virus to my computer. It is my fault. I went to search for a crack ( unknown ) for one program I wanted and just I installed it damaged my PC.
All antivirus and all tools of anti-malware cannot stop the ransom especially the last generations of these ( Stop DJVU ). I tried all.  The only way to be saved from these merciless viruses is to avoid ourselves not to go for unknown sites

Hello everyone, until today I don't know why ESET doesn't provide a dark mode for Eset for computer, almost all companies have already made their antivirus, ESET is the only one that doesn't have it, I've looked here on the forum and there are a lot of requests about that, it's time to look carefully at the users' request.
Could you please answer us if one day we will see a dark mode in ESET, Marcos?

First, your Win 7 version is 32 bit. Out-of-the-box, it makes you more vulnerable to malware since it doesn't have kernel patch protection.
    Next is this fact:
    https://support.eset.com/en/kb7292-microsoft-windows-support-policy-and-eset-products
In other words, you are and will continue to be vulnerable to OS exploiting.

No, this is not right  170 days !  There is not method for us we the citizens of Iraq to buy online, but perhaps a friend who traveled anywhere could buy it.   On the other hand, my country Iraq is not mentioned in the list provided by ESET ... You can notice it    I don't know why the country Iraq is not listed ?
Good by, I know you would reply in this way !
I can choose many anti malware program else, for example , the HitMan tool supports the Arabic language and can be easily used and it is very very useful . I tried it and just yesterday I removed from my PC
A month ago, my PC got infected with a very malicious ransom ( UYJH online ) and none of all anti-malware programs could save me.  Believe me, the time my PC got infected there had been a ( Malwarebytes) program  installed on it ... So how do you think of it or how do you consider it ?  It is a rather failure with all programs of protection. Neither the KasperSky nor the Bet defender neither any of all can stand against ransom viruses  ??
Every one of companies' owners would claim my program ( antivirus ) is the best, but practically none could defend against the harmful malware. I by my hand removed using many complex methods, but the files of course got encrypted and there is no tool in the entire world to decrypt the encrypted files especially when the attack comes online

I installed Visual Studio 2019 this morning for my other works. But after installing it, my software works.
Could it be that ESET modified or blocked some .NET file or old dll in the system?
How could I submit my software installation exe?

New_Style_xd gave kudos to Marcos in Game mode also for other "heavy" processes.
By default, Gamer mode is activated automatically when an application running in full-screen mode is detected (game, presentation software, etc.).
Basically you should not see any difference with or without gamer mode unless you run custom scheduled scans which are suspended while in Gamer mode. Gamer mode suspends also updates, however, since we release updates in an approximately 4-hour interval during work days and they normally take only a while even with the subsequent startup scan run with low priority, it shouldn't cause much disruption even when running a CPU-intensive application 24x7.

New_Style_xd gave kudos to peteyt in How can we enable the potentially  ?
I should also add what an unwanted application is. The link bellow defines it
    https://help.eset.com/glossary/en-US/unwanted_application.html
Basically unwanted programs are programs that aren't technically malware but are greyware. They may try and install extra stuff, change windows settings, have tracking stuff and just general bad business practises.
I'm mentioning this as I've seen a few people in the past demand eset should decide what to do with PUA but the whole point of this option is it is down to the user. If a warning comes up with the setting enabled, the user has to decide if the positives outweigh the positives, but usually if it's coming up there's probably a reason.
That being said sometimes genuine stuff can be flagged because of what it does e.g. it could be potentially misused

Even uninstalling ESET cannot make the issue go away. Seems something was modified by ESET permanently.
