  1. Please carry on as follows: - on the client enable advanced network protection logging in the advanced setup -> tools -> diagnostics - reboot the machine - disable logging - gather logs with ESET Log Collector and provide the generated archive for perusal.
  2. I would start off by gathering logs with ESET Log Collector and checking a SysInspector log if another security software or 3rd party driver possibly clashing with ESET is installed. What OS do you use? If Windows 10, do you use the last October 2018 Update (RS4)? Please post ELC logs so that we can check them out.
  3. If I were an administrator, even one computer with active threats would be of concern since it might infect other machines. Please check the Cause column in the Threat panel if it's the same threat detected on all machines. You can post a screen shot of some unresolved threats where the columns "Object", "Process name", "Cause", "Circumstances", "Scanner", "Action", "Action details", "Occurred" are visible. It should give us a clue as to why the threats were not cleaned.
  4. The Regular update task checks for a newer update when you turn on the computer. However, disabling it is not recommended, otherwise you'd need to run updates manually. On multi-core systems updates should have negligible impact on performance. On old one-core systems where the single core is utilized by the system and other processes at a time, the impact of update may be noticeable. Another thing is that Endpoint v7 does not support Windows XP. It may install on it but we do not guarantee that it will work flawlessly. In case of issues, you should downgrade to Endpoint v6.5 which is the last one that officially supports Windows XP.
  5. When does the alert pops up? When you launch a browser or a specific application, when browsing websites, etc? If it's browser related, does it pop up when running any other browsers? By the way, it appears that you have ESET Endpoint v5 installed. I'd strongly recommend upgrading to EPv7.
  6. Is the site blocked even if you disable all browser extensions? Even if you launch Chrome without opening any website? If you use another browser, is it blocked as well?
  7. After the next update (approx. in 4 hours) please check if the first link opens in a secure browser automatically. If it doesn't open, it'd be most likely because of http/2 which is supported by the website but not by Banking and payment protection yet. We plan to add http/2 support to BPP soon.
  8. We kindly inform you that this forum is not a channel for disputing or reporting detections or blocks. Please follow these instructions next time: https://support.eset.com/kb141/. Having said that, we'll draw this topic to a close.
  9. Is it a clean install or upgrade? Please provide a Procmon log from installation as well as logs gathered by ESET Log Collector.
  10. This indicates running a secure browser. Couldn't it be that you clicked the Banking and payment protection shortcut on the desktop? Or you opened a bank site in a browser and it opened in a new window of a secure browser with a green border?
  11. Since this forum is not a channel for disputing detections, please follow the instruction at https://support.eset.com/kb141. Having said that, we'll draw this topic to a close.
  12. Please contact ESET LLC. Most of moderators here are from ESET HQ in Europe so we have no clue about discounts that ESET LLC offers.
  13. I'd suggest trying the following: - export your current config. to a file - delete all firewall custom rules - switch fw to learning mode - run the game - after you quit the game, switch the fw to interactive mode. Does it help?
  14. That's due to updated Google Play policies. Please read https://forum.eset.com/topic/17977-eset-mobile-security-not-support-sms-call-filter-anti-theft-sms-command-due-to-google-policy/.
  15. For maximum security and protection against emerging threats, it's necessary to have the latest version of the program and modules installed. You can disable program updates in the advanced setup at your own risk, however. For information about EOL of home products, please read https://support.eset.com/kb3678/.
  16. It is not clear why the payment is still pending for processing. It should be processed by your bank in the first place would say. Have you tried cancelling the payment and making an order again? At any rate, I'd strongly recommend contacting your local ESET customer care and possibly your bank should the problem persist.
  17. You can leave it logging just for 1-2 minutes. Then disable logging and gather logs.
  18. Did the issue start to manifest right after installation or later? Is there a chance you have installed another driver which might have incorrectly registered in Windows before the issue occurred? Didn't you or another software delete or rename edevmon.sys from c:\windows\system32\drivers folder?
  19. Do you mean that you installed Windows from scratch, then installed ESET from an official download page and shortly after without doing anything or installing any dubious software ESET was disabled?
  20. SSL filtering will be included in v7 products which are planned for 2019/2020.
  21. Please try switching to pre-release updates in the advanced update setup and let us know if it resolves the issue.
  22. You can provide me with the order code for cancellation of the purchase so that you can then re-purchase at your local distributor.
  23. Approximately how many users log into the server per minute? Does temporarily disabling the startup file check task run after user logon in Scheduler make a difference?
  24. Full support for uPCU is now there so Endpoint should automatically update to the next version of Endpoint v7 when available.
