  1. It's a suspicious probably unsigned file protected with Themida. Whether it's safe or malicious depends on what kind of file was protected with Themida.
  2. It was fully tested. Upgrade with the msi installers or via a software install task was ok and the error didn't occur. Only those who clicked Checked for update were upgraded to v11 via uPCU. You can either switch to the pre-release update channel for the next few days or ignore the error and wait for the latest Configuration module 2109.2 to be released next week.
  3. You can report them to your ESET distributor or reseller through a support ticket.
  4. I have installed NASA Eyes for Windows but it runs alright without a crash.
  5. Please refer to https://help.eset.com/protect_cloud/en-US/cloud_migration.html.
  6. No logs will help unless it's confirmed that the crash is caused by ESET.
  7. I was unable to reproduce it on Windows Server 2022. The setting is controlled by a policy alright: Please raise a support ticket for help with troubleshooting if it doesn't work for you even with the latest version of ESET Server Security v11.
  8. Pokial potrebujete len ochranu na Android, aplikaciu ESET Mobile Security si mozete zadarmo stiahnut z Google Play a nasledne si v nej mozete zakupit a aktivovat premium verziu.
  9. Please remove the extension Notifier for Gmail™ from Firefox.
  10. You can put the eicar test file in an excluded folder and see if it's detected or not. I'd recommend raising a support ticket to find out what exactly needs to be excluded.
  11. How the support ticket ended? Was there any conclusion? What was the ticket number so that I could check the communication between the support and you?
  12. As the specter of AI-generated disinformation looms large, tech giants vow to crack down on fabricated content that could sway voters and disrupt elections taking place around the world this yearView the full article
  13. Please raise a support ticket since this is an ESET forum and Safetica was developed by another company.
  14. The error occurs if you manually check for updates and update to v11 is downloaded and installed after a reboot. The error doesn't occur if you upgrade to v11 via an msi installer which contains the latest version of the Configuration module 2109.2. This module is also downloaded if you switch to the pre-release update channel (a reboot will be required for the firewall to load properly). On Monday we plan to release a newer version of the Configuration module 2109.2 on the regular update channel.
  15. This is Outlook for Windows from Microsoft Store, not Microsoft Outlook:
  16. It's a per-user setting. If I remember correctly, configuring it via a policy will set it for all users:
  17. Only integration to Microsoft Outlook is supported. If you have it installed, what version is it? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Outlook
  18. Please provide: 1, A handful of encrypted files (ideally Office documents) 2, The ransomware note with payment instructions 3, Log collected with ESET Log Collector from the machine.
  19. There are no errors logged. Please carry on as follows: Enable advanced network protection logging under Tools -> Diagnostics in the advanced setup Restart the server to reproduce the issue Stop logging Collect logs with ESET Log Collector and upload the generated archive here. Also provide a screenshot of the error.
  20. Without knowing if ESET is involved in the crash, we also don't know what we should check for in logs. If it's crashing, a dump should be analyzed by the maker of the application to determine the source of the crash. At least we would need to know step-by-step instructions how to reproduce the issue on our end if it's impossible to temporarily uninstall the application to find out it it makes a difference and if it's crashing without ESET being installed.
  21. Please find a possible solution for your phone at https://dontkillmyapp.com/.
