Hi everyone,

 

I have an issue with this version of era. Everyday I see errors on era web interface on all pcs "Could not connect to server.", the agent could not connect with the server.

 

From time to time a few computers are connected but not for long time.

 

Do you know why most of the time all pc get this error?

Does Endpoint on clients update through a proxy server? If so, make sure the proxy server is set properly also for agent, ie. create an agent policy with correct http proxy settings.

Hi Marcos,

 

The issue is 90% resolved.

Workaround:

 

1. I deleted era proxy because I configured a era proxy on a office subsidiaries but was some malfunction regarding the peer is not find or something like that.

 

2. Yes we use a proxy server and I set proxy server on agent settings.

 

My question is why do we need to use a proxy server for agents? The mainserver and agents are in lan.

An http proxy server is useful for caching downloaded files which works as a replacement for the former mirror feature (supported as of ERA 6.2 by the command line Mirror creator tool).

I disabled the proxy server on the agent policy because I want to install antivirus locally from our IIS. If I let set proxy on the agent I can install the antivirus on pcs only from eset repository.
