Signature Updates for ESET Mobile Security for Android

Hi Guys,

 

How often does it check for updates? For NOD32, I noticed it checks every hour. Just wondering how often for Android devices. Does it matter if your are in WiFi or cellular mode? Thank you.

ESET Mobile Security for Android typically checks for updates multiple times per day depending on internet connectivity. Typically 3-5 times assuming you have a good connection. You can trigger a manual check for updates any time. To do so, follow the instructions from our Knowledgebase article.

I have been checking everyday and noticed that it only updates once a day although ESET provides multiple updates throughout the day. I am mostly on WiFi with stable connection. Would be nice to know more in detail on what kind of connection it will check for updates and how often.
