dlaporte 14 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I have 2 desktop PC's that have the same policy applied.. PC 1 PC 2 I know the dates are different, but it's the same policy??
jimwillsher 65 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Definitely both EEA and not one EEA and one ESS?
dlaporte 14 Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 Yes They are both EES (ESET Endpoint Security) ... ugghh
dlaporte 14 Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 I have also noticed that some PC's aren't showing the newest security configuration. after multiple reboots...
jimwillsher 65 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 if you" get latest" from ERA does it then pull the config back okay?
dlaporte 14 Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 looks like it finally did. so the answer is yes.
dlaporte 14 Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 From the Details window>Configuration Does the "Request Configuration" force the Agent to check in with the server? If so will it then update the policy?
Administrators Marcos 5,731 Posted March 18, 2015 Administrators Posted March 18, 2015 Just out of curiosity, didn't you have EEA installed on March 13 when the configuration was downloaded and you installed EES later?
dlaporte 14 Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 Marcos, How can I check that (logs?) I guess I might have mistakenly done that. Is that why there is no firewall option?
Administrators Marcos 5,731 Posted March 18, 2015 Administrators Posted March 18, 2015 Marcos, How can I check that (logs?) I guess I might have mistakenly done that. Is that why there is no firewall option? That was the only possible cause for firewall not appearing in the menu that we could think of. You can compress the Agent's trace log and send it to me via a pm to find out if there are any traces of installing ESET Endpoint Antivirus on the given date.
dlaporte 14 Posted April 15, 2015 Author Posted April 15, 2015 That is exactly what it was. I had mistakenly installed the ESET Antivirus and not the endpoint
