karsayor 8
Hello We have our load balancers that have been blocked by EsetIpBlacklist. The reason of the block is unknown. How can we dig ? How was the IP added to the list ? What is the way to remove it's IP from the blacklist ? There might have been an attack but what kind of and on which server who triggered the add to the blackList ? Administrators Marcos 5,252 Posted October 29, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 29, 2021 Please email the IP addresses to samples[at]eset.com. We'll check if it's safe to unblock them and will do so then.

Administrators Marcos 5,252 Posted October 29, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 29, 2021 It's antispam related. In the future, please report any antispam issues or incorrect blocks through your local ESET distributor please. Or you can send an email incorrectly evaluated as spam to nospam[at]eset.com yourself. karsayor 8
OK will go through distributor in the future. Honestly how was I supposed to know that i's antispam related ? It's reported in the firewall module with no mention of the issue. Is there a way to check whether an IP is in the blacklist anywhere ? It has been unblocked ? Sorry but I really feel like it's a blackbox and have no idea how it works and how to troubleshoot without having to contact ESET everytime
Administrators Marcos 5,252 Posted October 29, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 29, 2021 Please provide the appropriate record from logs related to the block. According to what I found the IP address was on the antispam blacklist and it was not supposed to be blocked by network protection.
