Boondogle 0
It seems like every site I go on now I'm getting alerts about untrusted certificates. As far as I know I haven't changed any settings and I go on all the same sites I always have. Should I allow them? Any help would be great
Administrators Marcos 5,274 Posted July 11, 2017 Administrators Share Posted July 11, 2017 The certificate appears to be ok. Make sure that you have a correct system date set.
TomFace 539
Here is the knowledgebase article on it. http://support.eset.com/kb6407/ As Marcos said check your system date. Also you may want to look at some of the certificates to see if they just expired (beginning with July I have also seen a couple).
Mat.Bennett 0
I came here frustrated by the same issue. Eset has definitely got more "needy" of late. I'm concerned that the constant certificate alerts are training our team here to ignore Eset warnings.

Please provide more information the website you are visiting as well as a screen shot of the certificate details. ESET warns about certificates that your browser would warn you about if ESET was not scanning secure communication.
Mat.Bennett 0
It's pretty continual to be honest (and yes, my system date is correct). It seems that lots of third party scripts trigger it. 1 minute ago, Marcos said: ESET warns about certificates that your browser would warn you about if ESET was not scanning secure communication. Does that mean that this 'feature' can be disabled?
Administrators Marcos 5,274 Posted July 17, 2017 Administrators Share Posted July 17, 2017 What website did you attempt to open? Please provide some screen shots. SSL filtering can be disabled but it's not recommended as any https communication would not be scanned and you could get infected with malware that is downloaded via https.
