This is the first I have heard of this and certainly hope it is not true. It might also only apply to Lenovo ThinkPad products. I have tried that with Dell BIOS , I have flashed another BIOS by DELL , and still ESET detected CompuTrace , even though it is disabled on the motherboard.

Sometimes it used to happen to me I would just let the process continue , it will take some time but it will work after that , I don't know if it's the same in your case. But mine would always show me stuck at 0% but somehow it's working but slow.

What is the detecting message you are getting? You can get that from the Logs also.
