We have identified a bug in ESET Bridge which causes wrong data to be served when spread control is activated on ESET servers. Please wait some time until spread control is turned off and agent is fully served if temporarily disabling the use of proxy server is not an option.

I've installed v16.2.13 from scratch and the list was populated immediately. Couldn't it be that you have imported a config. xml after installation that might have reset the list of drivers?

We value any constructive feedback from users. The program, including the firewall and rule editor, is subject to further development. Users can request features via their local ESET distributors and if there's a demand for a specific feature, we seriously consider it for implementation. Our goal is to tailor the product and its functionalities to the needs and liking of our users and this is what we've been doing for years - listen to our users and develop the products also based on users' feedback.
As for sorting rules, this is indeed tracked as an improvement and should be implemented in future versions.

You can ask for desired improvements via your local ESET distributor who will then report it further to ESET HQ. That said, those are regular modules that users on the pre-release update channel receive in the first round followed by the general public after a couple of days and are released typically in batches.

The green frame is just an indicator that the secured browser is active. Toggling the frame has no effect on the functionality, however, you will not know when it's active if you turn it off.
The difference between the isolated browser run via the desktop shortcut and the standard secured browser is that the isolated browser is truly isolated, uses a separate user profile and no extensions are loaded whereas the standard secured browser loads either all or only trusted extensions.

Those settings controlled some of the firewall rules which could not be disabled by the user in previous versions. Now that the "allowed services" settings have been removed, it's possible to disable default particular rules.

Insider program members receive a free license for ESET Smart Security Premium and get access to insider versions which are typically made available for testing weeks before the final release. In turn, we expect Insiders to use the program rather with non-default settings and report us issues and give feedback.

The problem is likely with policies that are applied with a very old Configuration Engine module from v9.x installers before it can update to the latest version.
When installing v9, you should use the MODULESZIP_PATH and provide latest modules in a zip. I can provide you with detailed instructions and a zipped module package. This way v9 will use the latest CE module when applying the policies and the firewall rules should be applied correctly.
We plan to publish re-packed v9.1 installers with latest modules soon.

Switching to the pre-release update channel should stop the firewall asking you about the communication on localhost; all communication would be allowed like it was before.
These options will be re-added in v17 later this year.

Please switch to the pre-release update channel in the advanced setup. Should you still have some issues with the firewall, please provide more details so that we could try to reproduce it by following your instructions.

Switching to the pre-release update channel should resolve the communication problems. Most likely you've been using the policy-based firewall mode, other 3 modes were not affected.

Thanks for the logs, we have successfully reproduced the issue. It will be fixed in the Firewall module 1440 soon. We have also fixed default rules that now match those from v10.0 and older, this fix will be distributed via an automatic module Configuration engine update soon.
