Failed to update the agent through Eset Protect Cloud

Hi,

I can update the eset endpoint security from 10.0.2045.0 to 10.1.2046.0

but i cannot update the eset management agent from 10.1.1288.0 to 10.1.1292.0

how can solve it?

Hi @mikechan,

is the agent not recieving the task from the ESET PROTECT Cloud or what is the error that shows when trying to upgrade the agent?

Hello,
same situation here. Upgrade Task claims to be successfull, however seems to do nothing.
Maybe related to:
repository.eset.com/v1/com/eset/apps/business/era/agent/v10/10.1.1292.0/agent_x64.msi.changelog.html

Version 10.1.1292.0

  • Fixed: Agents lost connection after migration followed by an upgrade
  • Fixed: Agent service fails to stop in time or system reboot takes longer takes expected
  • Fixed: ESET Inspect connector version status and size not reported to ESET Protect on RHEL 9.2
  • Fixed: Agent for macOS is not properly fetching system build number and rapid response version code

Hi, I confirm that I have the same issue.

I can't seem to be able to update from 10.1.1288.0 to 10.1.1292.0. The task is successful, but nothing happened. Even the update log on the computer is not created.

And I can't find the Upgrade Agent task in the ESET Protect category. What I have is Eset protect component Upgrade.

I have same issue on onprem Protect server.

Some clients updated when new version released and then it stopped and rest cannot update.

Tried submit ticket on friday with logs, but no response from system and support on phone dont see one in the system. New ticket submited via web form today in 13:38 no system reaction so far...

We have the same problem. Some Clients won't update the agent from 10.1.1288.0 to 10.1.1292.0 but show a green checkmark in the task,

What OS is installed on clients where agent upgrade is failing?

Does the management agent connect to the Internet via ESET Bridge ?

We have identified a bug in ESET Bridge which causes wrong data to be served when spread control is activated on ESET servers. Please wait some time until spread control is turned off and agent is fully served if temporarily disabling the use of proxy server is not an option.

It appears there was a glitch on one of the repository servers which has been fixed. Does agent upgrade alright now if connecting to the Internet via ESET Bridge?
