Hi

Is it possible/ a good idea to have Remote Administrator installed on a cloud-based server and have multiple clients connecting to it? I was thinking you could separate each client by using groups. I can then create policies for each customer and assign them to each group. I'm new the product so I'm just getting an idea of how we might implement ESET at customer sites.

Any help/ advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

you can create custom agents certs for each company and then create dynamic groups based on AGENT serial#. very effective way.

Thanks tmuster.

I've managed to get the remote administrator installed on a cloud server. I've then installed an agent and product on a test machine. I've tried to run a task to activate the client product but it just has an orange bar and says failed. I'm not sure how I find out why it failed? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Many Thanks.

A friendly and very helpful support technician helped me out. It was because I'd installed a proxy when I shouldn't have. Turned the proxy off in the http policies and re-ran the task. Worked perfectly. :)

I have ERA 6.3 installed on a hyperV in my office and I have certificates and groups on there for six customers. It works very well.

I don't use proxy.
