I'm trying to make dynamic group by IP Range with ERA 6, and after read manual first hxxp://help.eset.com/era/6/en-US/rule_editor.htm

Here the template

IP Range : 172.17.77.1 - 172.17.77.254

Operation : AND

Network IP addresses, Adapter IP address : has prefix : 172.17.77.?*

Then create dynamic group by that template, but there is no client move to this dynamic group.

The Question :

  1. There are any wrong of the above configuration?
  2. How long interval for ERA to move client to NEW dynamic group ?

What if you use the following expression:

OPERATION:  AND (All conditions have to be true)

Network IP address.Adapter IP address greater or equal 172.17.77.1

and Network IP address.Adapter IP address less or equal 172.17.77.254

In my scenario this rule works fine for dynamics group.

Hope this can help.

At least one successful connection of AGENT after you made last modification of dynamic group template is required. Maybe you made those changes after business hours? Also be aware that once you modify dynamic group template (any modification, even not related to rules) will result in empty list in console, until AGENT are reporting results for matching new version of template.

EDIT: and for future reference, dynamic group with requested parameters is also described in ERA documentation examples.
