Eset Full Disk Encryption (ESET PROTECT) cannot decrypt the disk

Hi,
we have a similar problem to the person in the post whose link I inserted. Windows after reboot keeps trying to repair itself but fails. The disk is encrypted by Eset Protect and I have already ripped the recovery data I booted the flash drive with eset software to decrypt but the error "Disk data does not show a valid file system" pops up.

Hi @Recovery

Similar to the post you mentioned I am going to ask if you would not mind submitting a support request here: https://www.eset.com/pl/support/contact-support/

However, when submitting this request, can you supply the following logs:

https://support.eset.com/en/kb7894-eset-encryption-recovery-utility-diagnostics#SearchForMeta

Can you use the same ESET Recovery USB you are using to attempt decryption and acquire the whole 'logfiles' folder for us as this will contain the decryption attempts and the Meta Data Search files for us to review. I am pretty confident decryption will be possible, it just requires a deeper look into the state of the disks to provide the right solution for you.

Thank you.

All this has already been done, but it is not possible to download the metadata because we get a message that the data on the memory stick no longer fits, even though it is 32 gb.

Hi @Recovery,

Are any logs generated at all on the ESET Recovery USB in the 'logfiles' folder you might be able to provide. Never had anyone not be able to acquire a Meta Data Search even when it was searching Terabytes of data.
