The ESET LiveGrid servers cannot be reached

following a sudden power outage caused by lightning this morning, my ESET is updated but it says

ATTENTION REQUIRED

The ESET LiveGrid servers cannot be reached

It gives the option to click on a link but that takes me to a page that i totally dont understand.

i have tried refreshing router, and restarting laptop twice.

Any other suggestions gratefully received.

Does ESET continue to update normally? If so and no changes in configuration have been made recently to a firewall you might be using, there's no reason why only the communication with ESET LiveGrid servers would not work.

yes ESET is still updating

but is still saying the same warning message

Could you please temporarily uninstall ESET NOD32 Antivirus, reboot the machine, install ESET Smart Security Premium and activate a trial version?

If the problem persists, carry on as follows:

1. Enable advanced logging under Help and support -> Technical support
2. Reboot the machine
3. Reproduce the issue
4. Stop logging
5. Collect logs with ESET Log Collector and upload the generated archive here.
