Kelvin Ma 0 Posted October 25, 2019 Share Posted October 25, 2019 I uninstalled a problematic Endpoint Security but it prompts "Installation error". So, I use ESET uninstaller tool to uninstall agent and endpoint security in safe mode. The uninstallation looks successful. However, when I reinstall Endpoint Security again, it prompts "The installation was not completed successfully" and error code: MSI.2203. I used the "online one-time scanner" to scan. Smart Scan found no virus while Full scan found 7 virus and removed them. However, I still cannot install the endpoint security. The same error still exist. Please advise what to do. Administrators Marcos 4,718 Posted October 25, 2019 Administrators Share Posted October 25, 2019 1, Run the Uninstall tool in safe mode to make sure there are no leftovers from previous installation. 2, Install Endpoint 7.1 from scratch. Failing this, please create an install log as per https://support.eset.com/kb406/. When done, collect logs with ESET Log Collector and upload the generated archive here. pps 4 Posted October 25, 2019 Share Posted October 25, 2019 -try to install endpoint security 7.1 with ESET AV REMOVER option if it fails try to: -check C:\Temp and delete all the contents inside If you cannot access Temp give permissions to the temp directory and retry the installation.
