mygeeknc 0
I've been using ERA6 for a couple of years on a Windows Server with MSSQL. I recently upgraded ERA7 and ran into a problem with the database. Rather than trying to fix this, I'd rather just move my clients to ERA7 on a Linux host with MySQL. What's the best way to do this? I don't really care about retaining any data, I just need the clients to reconnect to the new server.
Administrators Marcos 5,394 Posted October 23, 2018 Administrators Share Posted October 23, 2018 Simply re-deploying the ESMC Agent should make the clients connect to ESMC. However, currently you will need to do it twice since the first deployment will upgrade agent to the latest version and the second deployment will actually configure the agent to connect to the new ESMC server. This should change in the future, however, so that both operations are performed in one step.
