Eset Smart Security 8 beta requires almost every time to reboot system for clean a threat that was detected. This thing is not very nice and comfortable for work, need to improve or change this.

Other companies has 3 versions (Antivirus security solution, Internet Security solution, Premium/Total security solution). Eset has 2 versions (Antivirus (Nod32) and Internet Security (Smart Security)). If Eset will add some additional features like Safe Search and others, Eset Smart Security will be crowded. New features like toolbar, password manager, start-up manager, etc. would be suitable for a version called ''Titan'' or ''Gold'', hope that Eset will create such version. Eset Smart Security can have little more new features but features that does not complicate program.

@Labview707 it is not a good idea to remove parental control. This feature is useful.

Eset decide about new version. I support idea of an aditional version "Titan" or "Gold" with some premium features(ex: Password Manager) but not a lot that can create confusion or make program hard to use.

At Eset Smart Security In section Schedule should be added possibility to schedule scan at each 10, 15, 30 start of computer or define a scan data and execute scan with first start of computer (ex: 05.04.14 full system scan at first computer start).

I'm not sure but that name rang me a bell and there's a good chance we detect it as PUA Iobit should not be detected as PUA, they have in some installation packs toolbars, toolbars are user dependent, and user usually do not install them on computer.

No, please no Nor**n 360° (or even ESET 360°)! Please! I would organize a shitstorm! Eset has 2 versions (Smart Security and NOD32), it is not good to make Eset Smart Security an all in one security solution (360) but Eset can launch 3rd version that represent Premium Security.

Also if we had ESS and ESET 360°, this would be like Nor**n Internet Security and Nor**n 360°. - No! No! No! Never! This cra p can stay away! This would require staff and this staff can make better things at ESET! I think that Eset need to have a ''Titan'' version that include some premium features. @Arakasi, Iobit does not steal signatures from other vendors, they have a partnership with Bitdefender. Iobit installation packs sometimes contain toolbars, etc. but does not mean that Iobit is PUA, they working at this and in future will remove additional content from installation pack.

I think that at Eset Smart Security 8 notification icon from status bar can indicate directly security status. At Eset Smart Security 7 if all working good notification is a Green Circle and if is security problem notification is a yellow or red triangle. I recommend at Eset Smart Security 8 notification icon be Green Circle if security working good and change color of circle to yellow or red if maximum protection is not ensured.(without triangles)

According to discussion, Av-Test and Av-Comparatives do not execute tests correctly and win in tests results security software that not worth?

Panda Security was reformed and increase actual technology but this dosent mean that will obtain very good results in other tests. Hope that Eset with V8 will have a top position in next test result.

At Eset Smart Security version 5 was interesting video from YouTube ( animation trailer). At version 8 also can be added a video trailer but little different from the version 5.

I think that would be very useful SMS command that enable GPS, can be added also a SMS command or activate Mobile Data when is sent ''Eset find'' command.

I'm not aware of any issues with cleaning registry changes, please be more concrete.As for fixing MBR, this cannot be accomplished due to legal issues and Microsoft tools have to be used. Network Monitor can also detect if there are connected devices on home network, to prevent unauthorized connection to the home network. Eset at section Removal need to improve clean. In tests Eset has no Malware undetected but has 2 files cleaned not fully (Only harmless file remnants left behind). Also Eset does not clean (detect) tracking cookie. Eset has problems with remains after remove malware file (Malware removed, but some executable files, MBR and registry changes (e.g loading points, etc.) remaining). Eset to remove a sophisticated ransomware or a worm it is require to run Rescue Disc or Safe Mode, this thing also decrease test result grade. If a computer is already infected and install Eset, cleaning capacity also is not very good. In general Android OS has restrictions and do not allow possibility to run classic firewall. Firewall that have some companies, they named firewall but this can be type of filtering or monitoring. Web Protection and Anti-phishing are two different things. Web Protection protects from all kind of threats that can be present on different sites, Anti-phishing protects against fraud sites that contains false offer, etc. Privacy Advisor, Eset Mobile Security use information provided by Android about applications, only sort applications after different criteria. Eset Mobile Security need to develop something own for privacy advice. Parental Control is designed for filter internet content after defined criteria: Ex weapons, social networking, strong language, etc. Parental control is very useful and can be included in Eset Mobile Security.

Hello, It is nice type of notification present in attached image. At next version of Eset Smart Security in Advanced Settings can be added such type of buttons for configuration of protection modules.

One can't compare this product to ESET Smart Security, or ESET Cyber Security Pro for OS X wich are "security suites" having additional features like Firewalls. ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 for Linux is not a "suite" product, the equivalent for the Windows platform is ESET NOD32 Antivirus wich also does not have a firewall, antispam etc...customers may chose to use the Win OS firewall with it or some other 3'rd party firewall. Same with ESET Cyber Security. Yes, may be firewall, antispam, etc. it is not strictly necessary but version need to be upgraded to reinforce security.
