As for the pricing, purchasing a separate Google Play license for ESET Mobile Security should be cheaper than extending the EIS license to 2 devices. Moreover, Google allows you to use the license on up to 5 mobile devices.

As already mentioned, when it comes to choosing an AV the best course of action is to try out several solutions to find one that works best on your system in terms of footprint and performs well in tests. Then there are other aspects, such as price, technical support, etc. that may play role in the final decision. Although ESET doesn't belong to the category of cheap AVs, it's possible to find deals offering discounts.

Have you tried uninstalling ESET completely and installing it from scratch? We haven't received a single report from users that disabling the green border didn't work and didn't fade away after a few seconds after launching a browser.

As of now the above workaround (disabling keyboard protection) is the only way how to make JAWS work with Banking and payment protection.

I could find out that it was the DriverEasy software, that I used after clean installation of Windows to update all the drivers, caused the problem.
Maybe it did download excess drivers and unnecessary ones. 
I did clean install of Windows two times and tested few times, and thus finally could determine it was DriverEasy making the problem.

I don't see a big difference in colors between v15 and 16, if any:

Currently it's possible to choose between securing all browsers and redirecting to a secure browser. In the future it will be only possible to enable to disable Banking and payment protection since redirection to a secure browser will be removed completely.

It's definitely not ESET. The ID 1108 entries persist with ESET removed.

I checked it internally with the technology teams, they encountered the issue before, fix is already prepared to should be available in the next released version.

The secure browser is not running sandboxed but the advanced memory protection ensures that other applications cannot read browser's memory. It also prevents untrusted dlls from being loaded in the browser and provides anti-keylogger protection by scrambling keystrokes.

After that, the green frame will fade out after a while after launching a browser. It's displayed for a while as an indicator that the secure browser works and you can safely log in to bank websites.

The "Secure all browsers" mode has been there since v15.0, ie. for one year already:

It uses the existing browser as a secure one without creating a new copy of the default browser for redirection.

As I see it, B&PP is not a sandbox.
B&PP is just a browser lock down mode that prevents the browser from external malware injection. Since the default for secured browser is to allow all extensions, that is how the browser will be compromised with possible system infection.

I really don't understand the complaints about the "green frame." It's so inconspicuous using Firefox that I really have to look hard to see that its there. The only obvious thing is the "X" and Eset Icon display on right side border of the browser window which is no big deal.
Perhaps "dark mode" which I don't use makes the border more obvious.

How other users would know if they can securely enter sensitive login information in the browser if they wouldn't know if a secure browser is running?
"Secure all browsers" will be used in the future and the current redirection system will be abandoned since it requires a lot of maintenance and adapting to new browsers is not immediate.

This is to the fact that not all modules are released on release update servers yet (they are available only on pre-release).
When you change from pre-release to release, program does not downgrade, but modules do.
In your case it is translator module 1943 on release, 1946 pre-release (it will be aligned before the official release)

One additional info about reverting to regular updates after v.16 install. Although program itself did not revert to v.15 some options disappeared ( like choosing colour mode). After enabling pre-release updates and updating those options are back again (probably module update). So it's probably not wise to change update type after updating to v.16.

I tried it. It re-downloaded 175 MB of data but it remained on v.16. In log files it logged that modules were successfully updated.
