All products from ESET NOD32 Antivirus to ESET Smart Security Premium are same in terms of SSL filtering / scanning feature. That said, if disabling SSL filtering makes a difference, then the issue must occur also with ESET NOD32 Antivirus installed. Please try installing ESET Smart Security Premium v16.1, then switch to the pre-release update channel in the advanced update setup and have it upgrade to the latest version v16.2. If that doesn't resolve the issue, try temporarily disabling Banking and payment protection and see if it helps.

 

Support for redirection in Firefox v115 will be added later this month. We recommend either using the Secure-all-browsers mode or using the isolated browser accessible via the BPP desktop shortcut.

Did you try to upgrade to v16.2 either using the installers downloadable here from the Downloads section as early access or by switching to the pre-release update channel? V16.2 should have it fixed.

Endpoint v10.1 should be available soon, we don't plan to have a beta version.

No problem with redirection to protected B&PP defined web sites using Edge.

Please download and install v16.2.10 from https://forum.eset.com/files/category/3-early-access/ and see if it makes a difference. We recommend switching to the pre-release update channel in the advanced update setup to get full support for the new firewall before v16.2 is released for general public.

Please run the ESET Uninstall tool in safe mode.

While all ESET products protects you from new threats, no AV can detect 100% of malware with zero false positives. There are no such plans, ESET LiveGuard is a premium feature.

You can't other than by trial and errot testing. However, certain security products that only function as on-demand scanners such as HitMan Pro, Norton Power Eraser, etc.. are "safe bets." Also, you can always use set Microsoft Defender to periodic scanning mode.

I'd say that it's rather unlikely to come across a threat detected by ITDT since new ransomware variants are typically already detected by other protection layers. However, it may be useful when it comes to targeted attacks.

The important point to note in this test is the disparity in detection rates between Intel and AMD processor.

When you ran the tracert command, were you able to connect to Eset's activation server or not? We are not "mind readers" here in the forum.

While feature updates can be disabled in the advanced update setup, ESET will be upgraded to the latest version once the installed version reaches EOL. According to https://support-eol.eset.com/en/policy_home/product_tables.html, v15 is in limited support and only v16.x is fully supported.
EOL versions eventually stop receiving updates completely so they won't protect you from current threats.

If you don't use a firewall that might be blocking communication with ESET's servers, check C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts  and remove lines containing "eset", save the file, reboot the computer and try again.

If one buys programs second-hand on the Internet, you can't expect activation to work. It's like with Windows for instance; you can purchase it from an arbitrary person for a few bucks to save money but if the license leaked and the seller was selling it to numerous people while violating EULA it's not vendor's duty to support those who bought it.
When it comes to the license 3A7-7DK-C3B, it is valid and can be used by the person who bought it, ie. the one with the email address cXXXXXXXX4@sXXXXXXh.com.

This is a known bug, will be fixed in the next version 16.x.

Eset consumer products have the same protection mechanisms as its Endpoint Products. That is;
1. NOD32 is equivalent to EEA.
2. Internet Security is equivalent to EES.
3. Smart Security Premium is  equivalent to EES + EDTD.
