czechoto 0
Hello, When I copy the file to the server, the file is not scanned during this operation. I have EFS 6.0.12035, the Real-time file system protection is enabled. What must be done to ESET starts scanning the files. czechoto 0
It is for testing and this file is EICAR Standard Anti-Virus Test file. Ii is compressed file: eicar.zip
Administrators Marcos 5,259 Posted April 7, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 7, 2015 Ii is compressed file: eicar.zip This is the reason why it was not detected. Real-time protection doesn't scan archives internally as unpacking is a time intensive and resource consuming task which is totally unnecessary as malware in archives doesn't pose any risk.
