Issues with network connectivity and freezing

Recommended Posts

At the moment I uninstalled eset and I'll test how things works without it, I'll restart now and update. I also have randomly weird disconnections from my LAN suddenly when playing games or very rarely when not doing anything, including the black screen on bootup and eset takes 10 min to start its firewall. something is so weird.

Update after restart :

so Eset uninstalled Windows BOOT UP INSTANTLY.

What I noticed is the the LAN takes like 5 sec to actually get internet after windows load up, it shows the global icon and then after 5 sec it shows the computer, with login or without. but with eset it shows black screen for almost 10 sec and the computer icon is already shown up on the windows login.

eset service is freezing my whole computer!!

When I try to uninstall it, it stuck on the ESET Service for 15 sec and my computer can't do anything else! Can't open task manager, event viewer, nothing works!! it just freeze the computer, only the START and Windows Settings and mouse right click and any windows New UI works. nothing else launches!!!!!!!!!!!!!! until it finish uninstall eset service

My network doesn't work when my computer bootup!! ESET just freezes everything!!!!!!! I am so sick of this bloody issues!!!! return to VER 15 without any of this issue, I'm so sick of wasting my bloody time!!!!!!!

ESET not installed everything INSTANT LOADING!

I was watching the Windows Login circle for almost 2 min until it loaded and only 2 icons shown up on my tray icon! ESET didn't even launched because it freezed and freezed the whole COMPUTER including everything else!!!!

COULDN'T even use my mouse Razer Basilisk V3 because I have specific Mouse pad calibration with Lift settings because I have 0.8 extra height so I can't even move the mouse without the software/driver and it didn't load it because ESET!! I needed to use ANYDESK But it also didn't LOAD!!!!!!!! ARGGGGGG

Do the issues occur if you uninstall ESET and install v17.0.16 from scratch with default settings?

Should the system freeze, we'll need a complete memory dump created as follows:

  1. Configure Windows to generate complete memory dumps as per https://support.eset.com/en/kb380 and reboot the machine.
  2. Reproduce the issue.
  3. Manually trigger a crash when the system freezes and becomes unresponsive.
  4. Compress the memory dump, upload it to a safe location along with logs collected with ESET Log Collector and drop me a private message with a download link. If the system doesn't start and becomes unresponsive on boot, temporarily remove ESET in safe mode using the ESET Uninstall tool.

for now, I moved to another AV software, I can't mess with this thing right now, it slows down my computer to a crawl every restart and it's not that it doesn't work, it is randomly changing every time, sometimes the firewall can't start, and the internet doesn't work because of it. I'll just wait until you fix all issues.

If not other will have it and go through it, I'm not supposed to be your debugger person, I need to get paid to get your software fixed, sorry.

Computer start as it should, not black screen no slow down or windows doesn't load all try icons and all the rest and firewall + antivirus work as it should without event viewer notification every time.

Also, I will check if the game lags I had in Diablo 4 and Forza Horizon 4 and some other online games were because of ESET doing stupid things randomly.

because I know for sure it's not my ISP and not my network, if anyone blame that I have nothing to add to it. my internet would totally lose connection randomly like totally cable disconnect of sort, it doesn't happen without ESET now.
