bandwidth (traffic) usage eset protect cloud

Hi everyone, I have question about bandwidth usage for each endpoint who connected to ESET Protect Cloud. Is there any documentation or article to describe how much it used?

There's no such information since it depends on many aspects, such as the policy used, the number of detections triggered, etc. so the difference in bandwidth may be in dozens of MB.

and btw by default, the ESET Management Agent synchronizes with ESET PROTECT Cloud every 10 minutes.

Is there does this also apply to eset protect cloud users up to 1000 users or more? or is there an interval adjustment according to the number of users managed by eset protect?

To my best knowledge, the interval can be configured only in ESET PROTECT on-premise.

In ESET Protect Cloud there's no option to configuring interval

 

does the fixed interval use the default? (10min) even though ESET Protect Cloud manages thousands of clients? or ESET Protect will do the adjustment itself?

Could you please more details of your concerns regarding current interval? As of now, indeed interval is not configurable, but since older versions, communication protocol was optimized in a way that there should not be a big connection overhead, especially not in case persistent connection are working properly (depends on network configuration).
There are also transparent push notifications used in cloud PROTECT which improves responsibility of the clients for changes.

In case there are come limits, would it be possible to provide us to us, i.e. what would you consider as reasonable traffic use for example in one hour?

I just want to know about the interval on the ESET Protect Cloud, because at the moment the reference that I know is only on onprem, and on onprem there is an interval recommendation for each number of users managed by ESET Protect. that's all. CMIIW.

According to https://help.eset.com/protect_cloud/en-US/index.html: ESET PROTECT Cloud enables you to manage ESET products on workstations and servers in a networked environment with up to 50,000 devices from one central location.

That said, even with this number of devices the replication interval of 10 minutes guarantees flawless operation.
