IvoBe 0
I would like to schedule (at school) a regular PC Shutdown task for late weekday afternoons to shut down those computers that were not manually shut down. I create a dynamic group template for the computers selected by some conditions. The main condition is "idle state = is idle. Based on this conditions, a dynamic group is created. After the group is created, the correct computers are added to the group. However, after they are shut down, the shut down computers still remain in this dynamic group. Please advise. Administrators Marcos 5,235 Posted October 22, 2022 Administrators Share Posted October 22, 2022 Since the membership in dynamic groups is evaluated by agent and subsequently sent to the server, this won't work since agent cannot announce the client being shut down when it's already shut down. IvoBe 0
Thank you, Marcos. That's what I was afraid of. Is there any possibility (for example by another task) to delete members of a dynamic group? Ivo
