damian 5643 0
I plan to buy license but i am unable right now. Tommorow it expires. if it expires, will i still be able to restore quarantined files or they will be gone? It is important for me to not loose them, but i also cannot restore them now. Will i be able to restore them on expired trial or maybe i will need to buy license first? I would greately approciate quick reply. Administrators Marcos 4,244 Posted June 19 Administrators Share Posted June 19 I'm not 100% but I assume that restoring files from quarantine should work after license expiration. Please check if the same files already exists in the target folder and if the current user has write permissions to the folder.
damian 5643 0
@Marcos Let me ask related question them - if i take this quarantined and encrypted file and manually copy it to other computer eset quarantine folder, will they still be "restorable" on that other computer? I know quarantined files are encrypted, by is it by some unique key? Or every eset instance can decrypt them? Administrators Marcos 4,244 Posted June 19 Administrators Share Posted June 19 You will be able to decrypt the file on another machine with ESET installed if you put it to the current user's quarantine folder.
