Hello I wanted to ask if I found a hack for some versions
Of ESET antivirus
1.Is it mandatory to report the breach to the company?
2. Can I get paid for reporting?
I would love for answers
Thank you

1. It cannot be mandatory but it will be welcome and appreciated.

2. We don't have a bounty program when you would get paid for finding bugs.

If you want, you can drop me a personal message with details.

It's usually available for older version , some kind of version 9 and 10 era , but recently you cannot find anything , and most of the times those places/software where you could find keys or some blog in chinese , they almost don't exist

But if you are talking about exploits in recent versions then that is a different story

Hello I found a full break
To the business versions
And the home versions
The breach is being updated
Which is a relatively recent hack
I will say for a fee

If these are cracked versions of Eset, it is doubtful they will be fully functional. For example, signature and module updating.

Then there is the issue why anyone in their "right security mind" would use cracked AV software.

And as I wrote before
I'm interested in payment / reward

Hello,

If you wish to report a security vulnerability in an ESET product or service, you find out more information at https://www.eset.com/int/security-vulnerability-reporting/.  You can find out what is both in and out of scope for reporting and a little bit about how we recognize security researchers for their efforts.

Aryeh Goretsky

I'm interested in paying tens of thousands of shekels
By the way
The hacking is also appropriate
For file security

I did not understand how this site works.
Can I spread the hack?
This is a very serious break-in.

Click "Drop us a line" in the section Vulnerabilities found in ESET Products or on Other Websites.

I am Israeli and my English is not so good
That's why I do not understand the site.
If I report how much money will I get?

We do not pay for that. You can contact ESET IL on this matter and they will pass the information to ESET HQ.

It's up to you. We have already told you what options you have.

And if I want I am allowed to post the hack.
(Not that I'm going to do it, because it's not fair)

The screenshots just show that you have no license and that the product is in the state of initializing protection and at that point it's probably stuck.

Firstly this isn't really a hack just a crack. Problem is that using cracks is a dangerous game as you never know what extra stuff might be secretley included and also how long it will work.

Also is their a reason all your evidence uses version 12 when version 13 has been around for sometime. Just find it odd that it is not showing the latest version.

But as eset has said they aren't going to pay for this

First at the end of the video, it appears real-time protection is still disabled.

Next, there was no attempt to update to latest ver. 13 release. My best guess is that would have failed. The crack version did do a product update, but it only received the lastest ver. 12 release it appears.
