vivelasieste 0 Posted May 28, 2020 Posted May 28, 2020 (edited) Hello everyone, I want to install an antivirus on my mac but I don't really know about it. But I plan to change computer soon after looking at the proposals of this site . A few days ago I discovered kaspersky and today eset. For those of you who know both, what's the difference? And if not, why did you choose eset for your protection? Thank you. Edited July 23, 2020 by vivelasieste
Administrators Marcos 5,469 Posted May 28, 2020 Administrators Posted May 28, 2020 Since you are in the official ESET forum, the answer is clear Anyways, it's a good practice also to try various products to find out if a particular AV works alright on your machine. It can happen that an AV with excellent results in tests causes performance issues in your environment and vice-versa. Should you encounter an issue while trialing ESET, you can ask here for assistance. Nightowl and mallard65 2
DanielSegun 0 Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 Well, it depends on your expectations. But, I will advise that you opt for ESET for your mac. 🙂

Most Valued Members Nightowl 206 Posted June 2, 2020 Most Valued Members Posted June 2, 2020 Go ask in Kaspersky forum and then you will have the fantastic confusion Try them both as trial and then decide for yourself which one acted better for the 30 days , or you felt better with.

I guess unconsciously my choice was already made by posting on this forum but yes, the best is to test both of them and to advise afterwards

vivelasieste 0 Posted June 22, 2020 Author Posted June 22, 2020 I haven't had time to test it yet. It's a rush at work right now, but I'll get right on it as soon as it gets a little free.
