bmshelpdesk 1
We have several zip and ZIP EXEs that customers are not able to download from our web or ftp site because their AV is saying the files contain: MalAgent.H_489(trojan) I've used our ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 Virus signature database: 9674 (20140414) and ESET Online scan to locate the source of the Trojan, but the result is clean. Is there something I'm missing? Can I upload on of the problem files for review (files are larger than 2 MB). Thanks, Chad Newman Black Mountain Software
Administrators Marcos 5,290 Posted April 14, 2014 Administrators Share Posted April 14, 2014 I'd recommend submitting the files to the vendor that flagged them as malicious for a review. The mentioned detection name sounds to be too generic so it could likely be a false positive.
