Administrators Marcos 5,451 Posted December 19, 2018 Administrators Posted December 19, 2018 If you select Clean is the PUA detected again? If so, please copy and paste the appropriate record from the Detected threats log.
hank 0 Posted December 20, 2018 Author Posted December 20, 2018 (edited) Hi Marcos If I scan again, Eset does not find it. However Spigot. B is still in my computer. I have posted the log files to Eset. Edited December 20, 2018 by hank a second thought
itman 1,801 Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 It's a browser hijacker. Malwarebytes has an article on it here: https://blog.malwarebytes.com/puppum/2017/02/spigot-browser-hijackers/ . Look in Control Panel -> Programs and Features for anything installed that matches any of the names listed in the Cleaning section of the article.
hank 0 Posted December 20, 2018 Author Posted December 20, 2018 Hi Itman I have tried both Iset and Malwarebytes. Iset found Spigot.B once and failed to clean it. Malwarebytes didn't find it.
itman 1,801 Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Try AdwCleaner. You can download it here: https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/
