EMSC upgrade task generates big network traffic

Hi,

Is it possible to create EMSC upgrade task with offline packages? When we are starting this task on clients it generates big network traffic and uses all bandwidth. After that we have a call from our ISP about DDoS attack

Have you been upgrading ERA Agent to ESMC Agent on clients? If agent was configured to connect through http proxy, the proxy server should have cached the installer and all other clients should have fetched the installer from cache.

No we don`t use http proxy. I will try to setup it. Thank you for the advice

One more question. Is it possible to configure a settings for both versions of an agents 6.x and 7.x in one policy? Because now we have a mixed environment.

If you don't use a proxy why you are going to use a proxy ? , I don't think Marcos did mean that you should install a proxy to get what trouble you are having to be fixed.

We actually recommend using an http proxy in larger networks to save the network traffic. Once a client downloads an update file or installer, the other clients should download it from cache.
