TomFace 539
Something that is non-ESET........Is anyone else having issues using Ghostery? I see their cert expired today (getting notices from EIS): And when I try to go to their website to inform them (via IE11 and Firefox) I am unable to get there (even if I pause Ghostery protection), like they're offline. Or is EIS stopping me from going there? I blocked the action (as a precaution) when the EIS notice came up. If I recall correctly, in the past when I blocked questionable certs, I was usually allowed to proceed. The Ghostery icon is giving me a blocking count so that seems to be functional. Any thoughts? Most Valued Members cyberhash 181 Posted November 30, 2017 Most Valued Members Share Posted November 30, 2017 Don't use ghostery but the certificate is expired. Modern browsers wont let you connect to sites when this happens as a precaution as the domain can be hijacked. Im sure once they realise the certificate has expired they will fix it. I was hoping I wasn't THAT special That same thought (hacked) crossed my mind (or even another CCleaner fiasco that one still stings a bit).
