laurentiu 0
On 08.sep.2017 after that day updates Two XP32 SP3 systems with ESET NOD32 Antivirus 10.1.204.5 and modules 16048(20170908) and 10731(20170908) report Win32/Filecoder.FS trojan on some TXT files who have inside various financial numbers. Same day scanning with updated bootable SafeDisks Bitdefender & ESET one, all systems was reported clean, no infection found from inside Linux scanners. Tough if restart and scanning again with ESET NOD32 Antivirus 10.1.204.5 and modules 16048(20170908) and 10731(20170908) the infection are again reported. Today I let the antivirus updates the modules to 16059(20170910) and 10743(20170910) and the infection alerts in those files are gone. The systems are reported clean. Can you check if that combination of modules are susceptible to report false positives on Win32/Filecoder.FS ?
Administrators Marcos 4,933 Posted September 11, 2017 Administrators Share Posted September 11, 2017 Are you positive it's still detected? To my best knowledge, the detection was fixed about 2-3 before you posted.
